I recommend coming here to have a beer that isn't Corona or A traditional Mexican beer and hang out with locals. This is not a tourist place at all and is a decent but do-able walk from the Zocalo. Food was "international" in appearance with offerings such as pizza, burgers and bratwurst, but with careful Mexican twists applied. In addition to some crisp and fresh brews, we munched on BOCADOS DEL MAIZAL (baby corn with mayo, cheese and salt). The small bites were tasty and a perfect complement to the fresh beer. Loved the neighborhood vibes and lively environment. Too bad the power went out during a vicious downpour and thunderstorm otherwise we might have stayed longer!
Helles. I am always in search of a good Helles, difficult to brew this style and after a few trips to Munich, they are in my heart.

It's neatly organized by brand and type of beer and the guy behind the counter was very friendly and helped me pick out a few when I couldn't decide. Lots of Mexican craft beer, plenty of German and Belgian brews. They have Orval. I mean how do you not give a place that has Orval 5 stars. They speak Spanish and it is not a place that looks for the gringo market, but if you are staying in Roma and want to pick up some brews, this is the place to hit. There is an awesome, old school pulqueria next door. Again, it's a local haunt, but Mexicans love gringos interested in pulque.
