This time i found this place thanks to yelp and omg I cant believe how good it was. I had the Om burger special with fries it was like I remember mexican hamburgers when I used to eat meat. The fries were awesome and their catchup was even uniquely delicious. The mint lemonade was delicious too. The vibe was great and art was super cool. The staff were super cool. And the best part is that it was very inexpensive (unheard of in denver, co). If your a vegetarian and travel to zacatecas you have to try this place! The only thing is that they close at 6:30pm and often earlier so try to get there early. My girlfriend had the torta adobada, so good! You wont regret it.

Their onion rings were delicious though. Service was mediocre. The young lady came to take our order, brought our food when it was ready, and never came back until we needed the check. So forget about ordering anything else unless you go up to them. Prices are decent though but everything is basically sold separately. The only combo they had was onion rings and a soft drink for 45 pesos which is about 3$. Good price. Definitely trying to be a rip off Carl's Jr. though and I thought it was Carl's Jr. when I drove by. I would rather eat tacos. It's a good place to try once or for like a snack but not a full meal. The malteadas were good as well.

The inside is big. I love how they used jarros for certain drinks (they also have bottled items) and matching plates, salsa holder, and napkin holder. It gave the restaurant that authentic feel. Menu basically covers basic Mexican cuisine as well as a few traditional American items like burger and French fries. The hamburger and French fries were good as well as the flan. I also tried their platillo #1. The T-Bone is delicious. Service was good. Our waiter ensured we never needed anything by continually checking up on us. It was delicious! This is a great stop if you are looking for familiar western food, or continental style food. I myself do not speak Spanish and my Spanish-fluent husband orders on my behalf. The staff is attentive and as with everywhere else in Zac the staff is kind and will do their best to communicate. Even though I may not order or speak any Spanish the staff still makes an effort to nod and smile. One of the best qualities of Zac is how kind everyone is!

Our taxi driver let us know that typically you need a reservation since the spot is so tiny that table space is limited. He was nice enough to call ahead for us and see if we needed one and made one just in case. We arrived and there was a big family in there as well as one or two other tables full, but we were lucky enough to be able to grab a table right away. For food, my boyfriend got the Chicharrón enchiladas, I got the enchiladas rojos, and we both shared an order of flautas (because duh). I initially ordered the enfrijoladas, but they happened to be out of beans, so those were a no-go. The enchiladas were so delicious. They were filled with shredded beef and the sauce was just to die for. We definitely gorged ourselves at the spot, so make sure when you come, you're hungry! I am a wine drinker and while they did have red wine there, it was on the sweeter side. So keep that in mind when you come here. It seems as though they mostly just serve beers and refrescos. Overall, I would definitely recommend this spot. But do make sure that you call ahead and make a reservation.

From the moment we arrived the host/server was unfriendly and rude. No welcoming smile. It felt like everything was a chore for him. Almost like if he was doing us a favor by allowing us to be in his presence. It was quite bizarre, you would maybe think he was just having a bad day? During the same week we had gone by twice, at the top of the hour, hoping someone would default on their reservation (as we did not have one, we did not plan to go, reservations highly recommended) and we could have a table and both times we were met with this unfriendly spirit. I'm not one to write many reviews I just felt obligated to let others know of this "famous" restaurant that all of the "buzz" about this place is not met with the service you'd expect from an establishment with this kind of reputation. Not once did they come check on us to see if we needed anything or if we were satisfied with the food and service. We were just ignored until we needed to pay the bill. No hard feelings but I will not frequent this business again as they do not deserve my hard earned money. If you would like the same quality food, and friendly service go right across the street to Taquería "WENDY" their tacos dorados are much better, they actually have flavor and the pozole is great too. All of this with no attitude. Imagine that, what a business model, provide good food and friendly service. As they say in show business... you're only as good as your last job.
