You can't come here without trying a drink or two from their cocktail menu, with unique creations like "I wish I knew Miley Cyrus" and "Password is password". I've checked this place out twice. There was about a year of a gap when I remembered why I never…read morereturned, then I forgot. It's somehow even worse now, maybe because I've been to several other local bars and pubs and they're all vastly better. The service is extremely slow. They don't even have a board listing drinks or specials, never mind a menu. Apparently there are no specials, presumably ever. (I guess they change the prices based on what they think they can get? Anyhow you basically have to play 'Have you got...' if you want anything that isn't a Molson etc). The most recent time I just left after having about 6 staff members walk past without asking if I wanted anything. Eventually an exasperated sounding waitress came over to tell me they didn't have a drinks menu after 10-15 minutes (there were three other tables; place was pretty empty), and I remembered my first visit, and just left. I ordered some Mozzarella sticks the first time. They weren't bad, or amazing. Then again its difficult to mess up fried, breaded cheese...

+ Good Food, Lot of seating - Price Gouging of the Wings,…read moreNo Parking Lot This is a large restaurant, great for large groups Lots of tables and TV screens. Very noisy environment, even with just one other table of girls night out. There is no free parking for the restaurant. You either need to pay at one of the lots or at one of the meters. We went on a Wednesday evening so thankfully the meter was free after 6pm. But be aware meters are hard to get. Our waitress was new and didn't know too much about the menu. Almost every question I asked was met with an "I don't know". Oh well. The menu was about 3 pages and had a decent selection, although it had no pictures of any of the dishes. Prices seemed reasonable, especially for the sandwiches. The wing prices are deceiving (more on that later). We ordered the Steak entree and 2lbs of Wings. The steak was a little fatty but grilled nicely. Mashed potatoes were cooked well though a small portion. I had the soup instead of salad which came late with the meal. The waitress did apologize for forgetting to bring it to me earlier. It was the cheeseburger soup which had some good flavour. The wings were cooked well being nice and crispy on the outside. One pound was Texas Gold which tasted like a hot honey garlic, and the other pound was Cajun that had a perfect blend of spices on them. When the bill came, that is when the confusion set in. 2lbs of wings are $16.99 on the menu. But, because we got two flavours instead of one, they charged us the one pound price of $9.99 times two. I have "never" experienced this elsewhere and found that pricing policy a cheap way for them to get some extra revenue. So if you order 2 or 3 pounds of wings, that price on the menu is only if you get all of them with the same sauce. Of course nowhere on the menu does it say that nor did the waitress tell us up front. So overall, not an overly great experience, and not a terrible one either. I would only hope the next time we go back that our waitress is better informed and we are told properly how they price menu items.

FOOD: We went on Thursday evening around 7PM. They advertise a 99 cent boneless wing special on Thursdays, so we ordered a pound each of the ragin Cajun and the hot wings. They must toss the wings in the sauce before they fry them because even though you could tell the wings had some sort of coating, they had little to no flavor. They were a little on the drier side, too. Our server was nice enough to bring us some extra sauce on the side to help give some flavor to the food. We ate about half of each flavor of wings before having our server take them to throw out. Ordered a meatball sub, too, which was fine. The bread was soft and there was a good amount of cheese on the meatballs. DRINKS: We ordered beer and gin/tonic with a little cranberry. Beer was cold and came in a full glass. I didn't pay much attention when drinking my first G/T drinks, but when I'd gotten a new refill, I noticed that there was a chunk of something floating in my drink (definitely not from cranberry juice concentrate). After showing my server, she replaced it for me. I was paying closer attention to any extras in my drink after this point, and noticed that there were some small black specks in the ice cubes. Having worked in restaurants before, I'm going to guess that the ice machine hasn't been deep cleaned recently. I ordered my drinks with no ice and no mixers after that. SERVICE: Our server, Morgan, was so nice. She answered all of our questions and made sure we had everything we needed before we needed it (extra napkins, hand wipes, condiments). We heard another table complaining about their food, and she was so sweet about replacing their food and then my drink later on. Morgan gets 5+ stars for her service and her friendly and helpful service. Food: 2/5 Drinks: 1/5 Service: 5/5
