Wing Barn - Nom nom nom - Chicken Wings Near Me - Brownsville, Texas

Do not come to this place. The wait is long for your food and when it does come out, it is so cold you will get sick from it. This has happened to us twice. They employ kids in the kitchen who don't seem to be working because they are on their phone or taking and joking with one another while their customer wait forever for their food. The first time we waited for 40 mins for burgers and fries. Gave them another chance and that took 20 mins for cold reheated burgers, barely warn friend and cold wings. read more

Ordered the 50 wing special they had for the Super Bowl. They were so unorganized. I arrived at the time my order was supposed to be ready only to find out they hadn't even worked on my order yet. The girl passing out orders was writing down names and putting in orders on the spot even though orders had been made online. They had over 30 people waiting for their orders outside. I had to wait over an hour to finally get my order. Why make specials if you're not equipped to handle it. read more

I went to try out their Oreos and it took them 35+ minutes for them to get me the order. I thought maybe it was a busy day so I went again to try the food and the same thing happened 45 minutes to get me my order, the fries and wings were cold not to mention that the employees were messing around and the manager was on his phone while there was people waiting to order the worst place I've been to in a long time, wouldn't recommend. read more

One of the worst experiences I have had with this place. First I ordered boneless wings at 5 to be ready at 5:30. The wings were ready 15 minutes early than I scheduled them for. Received the wings and they were soggy and swimming in liquid. They were also cold. Called to get a refund and was told that that it was my fault for placing an online order. Assistant manager Edgar, refused to work with me and decided to hang up on me. Called back and now this time Dan the manager answered and couldn't help me out with a refund either. I was told that I would need to drive back to the store and take back the soggy wings to restaurant to receive a refund. Honestly a very bad situation and will definitely not go back. Stay away from this place. Not worth it read more

Food is great. Value bundle for 2 is great value and Jonathan is very friendly. They recently added some live music and made it a really lively place to enjoy some wings, watch some sports, and listen to good music. read more

I love this wing barn always am greeted with a welcome smile and attitude. The food was amazing as always ! Love the service especially with the assistant manager edgar! read more

The food is good but they always fuck up my order and confuse boneless with traditional wings. Happened two times in the same order. I came back to get the traditional wings changed to boneless and they gave me traditional wings again. Maybe they should focus on hiring people with good literate skills. read more

Came to the new location on Pablo Kisel. They didn't have enough cash on their tills to cash out $100. Shitty manager with a shitty attitude. I told them if I couldn't get change I'd have to cancel my order. Let's hope the food is good. Nothing like the Boca Chica location where we have gotten better service!! read more

Used to be a regular, but not anymore after this. Food was overpriced (12 small wings are 20 bucks), wings used to be huge, now it's just small. Food tasted much different than before, and it's not a good thing. Service was fast though, i'll give them that. Restrooms are nasty and smelly. read more

Check your to go order before leaving the restaurant. I got home to find half my order missing. When I drove back to get the rest of my food I asked to speak to the manager. I told him I wasn't accustomed to making two trips for one order. His response "oh well, we're all human, it was a mistake". Speaking of mistakes, I'll never make the mistake of patronizing this poorly managed place again. Don't even think about reaching out to their upper management. They have no contact info on their website. read more

Waited at least an hour for 1 burger ridiculous and there not even that busy never been to such a terrible wing barn smh I thing the cooks need a new job. Just lost my money. read more

My boneless wings were absolutely disgusting. They were raw and they weren't seasoned. The chicken was so raw that my friend choked on a piece AND we had to preform CPR. After we opened the box, a couple of roaches crawled onto my hand. I will never be eating here nor will I be recommending this place unless I'm going to attempt an assassin. Please fix this issue or you will be hearing from my lawyers and by the way WINGBARN... my friend is currently hospitalized. read more

The wings are pretty good. We tried the Thai wings but I found that they were drenched in waaaay too much sauce. The cilantro lime wings were really good though. The wait time was pretty long, that's why I gave them one less star. read more

Ordered a 10 piece meal w side of fries and 2 drinks, with 2 ranches. My total was almost $30. Which is ridiculous because at wingstop that would've been no more than $17. The size of the wings did not compensate for the price either, wings were small and skinny. On top of that order took 40 minutes to come out and it was not during busy hours. Not going back again. read more

DONT COME HERE IF YOU HAVE PLANS AFTER. 1 hour and 20 mins for 25 wings thats all i gotta say And we're still here waiting for our food to get here read more

The wings are good but they take WAY too long to bring the food. I sat waiting for a lunch order for 25 plus minutes. It wasnt even that busy!! You cannot come here on your lunch break. Ended up having to take it to go. read more

My son wanted wings for lunch so we went to Wing Barm. We ordered the 25 wing combo, $23. The young lady told us there is a wing shortage charge of $2 per wing. I laughed and she said I'm serious. She told me that our total would be close to $45. I laughed and told her thanks we'll go somewhere else. Every other restaurant is experiencing some short of shortage and they are not charging extra for it. Chick fill a, wing stop, Pizza Hut, chipotle...you name it. They're letting their customers know that the food maybe smaller in portion or they maybe out of it due to shortages. But they are not charging you an extra $2 per whatever that food is. Ridiculous read more

So let's talk about this. First of all, I don't like wings with bones, so when I talk about a wing place, I'm looking at boneless wings. Yes, I realize that a boneless wing is basically just a glorified chicken nugget. What's your point? Noteworthy items. The"full order" of celery is...substantial. The boneless wings turned out to be a situation where the thing was less than the sum of its parts. The chicken was fine, and the spicy barbecue sauce was pretty good, but they absolutely drowned the poor babies and that was to their detriment. I ordered some follow-up chicken to test the "lava" sauce. This time I ordered the wings naked and asked for the sauce on the side so that I could control distribution a little. Much better. Though I will report lava was really too hot to be enjoyable for my taste. The fries were decent. All in all, this felt like a cross between a neighborhood bar and a Buffalo Wild Wings. read more

I have never been a fan of wings until we encounter Wingbarn on Pablo Kissel. The manager is very helpful and friendly. The wings are tasty and well served. Haven't been to Wingbarn on Pablo Kisel for awhile now due to substandard food. Today I ordered a 10 boneless wings, fries and some jalapeño poppers online and just to get to The was told that order wasn't ready. So i was told that order would be out in 15 minutes...left and came back and Still order was not ready. I asked for refund and manager couldn't do it. i will never come back to this place ever again. I am sorry to say that this was one crappy service and after waiting 45 minutes food was still not done and as of 5-11-24 have not received a refund. Do yourself a favor and not go! read more

One star because I wish I could give zero. I've been coming to wing barn on pablo Kisel in Brownsville, TX for several years now. For some reason, the boca chica wing barn in Brownsville has had some of the worst costumer service. Wings come out with no sauce, undercooked, no flavor. I ordered lemon pepper wings and there was no pepper on them, no seasoning whatsoever, just plain old sauce. We payed $112 in total for 50 wings you would think maybe half of them will come out good, I was wrong. We spoke with mike the "manager" on the phone and he didn't manage shit. Mike claimed that he made the wings so that means they should be good. I don't know what his definition of GOOD is but it was ASS. read more

Waited an hour for cold wings, sent them back they came back warm and tasted like nothing but old grease. It was obvious they took the wings that we had and just sent back and dropped them in the fryer to "heat" them up. Not worth the wait or quality of food. Worst place we have ever eaten. Took over an hour on a 20 minute call in order. Get there in 40 minutes to give then time and when i arrive they told me 20 more minutes. This place needs to get it together. Highly dont recommend read more

Giving this place two stars because the boneless wings are OK but everything else is pretty trash. Service is garbage and it is obvious that the staff is miserable working there. The food tasted old and was overpriced. Fries and burger tasted like they sat under a heat lamp for a while. my Parmesan wings were good, however the mild ones were soggy. I ordered corn dog bites for $5.99 and they only gave me 5. I attached a photo of it. I would never come here again nor would I recommend it to anyone. Food = 4 Star the lemon pepper wings were bomb but a little dry. Service = 3 Star I asked 2 girls for my order and they both said 5 minutes. Then one of them came out with an order and was calling out the number out loud. Apparently no one there had that number. I wonder if they gave out an order to the wrong table? Waiting for the food = 1 Star, We waited for 45-1 hr for my order. Is that normal? We were so hungry, we started to get so impatient. On 3/20/24 I went in to pick up an order I placed over the phone and place another for a friend. On arrival I was greeted with an employee that was very confrontational. After I told her about a coupon the manager had delivered at my place of work, she instantly shut me down after I explained I just placed an order over the phone. After going a bit back and forward I just told her to charge me however because I was due back to work shortly. After taking my order she continued to tell me that they had a 30 minute wait. I told her it was fine and that I would wait but I guess she took it my bluntness as rudeness and told me " you really don't have to be rude" like it's going to deter me from ordering. I told her thanks for helping me and that I'd wait for the gentleman that took my order over the phone. He took care of me and made my experience better. I have never been so disappointed with a restaurant than I was today. So@much I'm writing about it. I always try to support local and more so during this pandemic. I've worked in various areas of the food industry and am usually very understanding but not this time. Not the first time either. Curbside fail, ok. Went in, no problem. Picked up food (no designated person for their online order area, despite people standing there). Got the food and got to my mother's only to find that they gave me someone else's order and not my son's dinner. Called on my way back, explained and told them I was going to pick up missing sandwich and returned wrong order. Got the order. Came home not only was it incorrect, it was purposely burned. Whoever purposely burns a kids meal (it was known that it was for my son) is a whole notha' level of failure. **There were two other people waiting upset about their to-go orders when I returned and 1 when I first arrived. So definitely not isolated. Plus, it's obvious they don't care to rectify these issues by their employees are trained to operate everyday business. Was going to call back after the burned meal but felt like it was just a waste of time. I'm a returning customer and the last 10 times that i've ordered they've gotten the order messed up in some way at least 4 times. That's a 60% customer satisfaction rate, not great. This last time i ordered the basket of fries with boneless wings and they forgot the fries. I called back as soon as i saw my order and they had me on hold for 15 minutes. I literally drove from my house to the store and they still had me on hold. When i stepped inside the restaurant, it was slow, there was two cashiers and one of them was chatting it up with someone.
