Although I am very careful about who cuts my hair, she did a wonderful job. She gave me exactly the haircut I wanted and did so in a very professional, friendly, and conscientious way. Some barbers treat you like a number and rush through the haircut, but Christy took her time and ensured that I left with exactly the cut and style I hoped for. Be careful of who you choose as your barber. Had been coming to this place for a couple of years now but unfortunately had a bad experience. It seems like they hired a new person who wasn't comfortable cutting hair. When they gave me a shave with the razor, they nicked me and left me bleeding. Didn't tell me during the cut until my girlfriend showed me what happened. It also took the main barber to fix my cut, as the new person didn't cut it properly. Took like an hour and 15 minutes when usually should be like 45 minutes. Will not be coming back. read more

I started going to Danny about a year ago. Every time I leave happy. He definitely knows how to cut a perfect mullet. The vibe is good too.

Nice place, good vibe. I'm sure they cut hair good but if a barber doesn't know the names of beard styles, they have no right touching your beard. They butchered my beard and cut my face and neck while using a straight razor. I even showed a reference photo of my beard and asked them to only shape it not touch the length and I got a short beard with no shape. read more

Went in for a hot shave and they hit it out of the park. Wing & Blade was a perfect example of where quality meets price. One of the best shaves I have ever had and at a price I would gladly pay. I recently returned from 2 weeks aboard and, while in London, I had received a shave from the world famous Truefitt & Hill. I am not being hyperbolic when I say that my shave from Wing & Blade was on par with Truefitt & Hill. It was impeccable. 10/10 would recommend and would love to come back. read more

I have cut my own hair for 15+ years with an at home kit but I am getting married in a month so thought I would give this place a try to see if I like it for the special day and would come back a few days before if I liked the service. I had an appt at 10:30am, I arrive at 10:25 and was told it would be a few minutes. At 10:55 I got up and left. No one had said anything to me or apologized for the wait. My son and I called ahead for appointments and they got us both in that afternoon. Katie and Kris were waiting and ready upon our arrival and gave us two fantastic cuts. They have a great spot by the Poinsettia Train Station and the space is cool and open with a full roll up door in the front. We both got the exact cuts we wanted (with a hot towel and straight razor neck shave!) and have been receiving compliments ever since we left. We've all been to that barbershop with 20 chairs, barbers with inconsistent schedules who are on to the next chair in a month. Or those places that look like they are from the 70's with creaky old chairs, brown and beige checkered tiles. W&B is a very unique place that is rather different than most. First it's inside a complex of small business owners that do everything from massages, spa, beauty, hair, etc. It's a 2 chair spot owned by Vianna, who has been cutting hair for years at the well known and popular Knuckleheads. It's a special thing to venture on your own and have your own spot rather than rent a chair. It's setting down roots. The schedule is online, the appointments are done by phone app/online. The chairs are new and super comfortable. A buddy of mine has been going to her for years and at the time I had my own barber, so I wasn't really looking when he had to get cut while we were out running errands. A few years later when I'm looking to find someone closer to my new job word got back to me that she was opening her own spot. I came to check it out and it's a cool unique spot. It's no frills. She did everything herself on the design and build out, so it's super authentic. Her prices are competitive. Gone are my days of pompadours and slick backs with the DA. My hair can't handle a tub of pomade in it every 2 weeks worth of product. I'm a much simpler now and keep the style more low maintenance. Usually a mid skin fade, sometimes I get a hard part, sometimes I get bulk taken out the top (not length), sometimes I change up the small things, but it's nothing unusual. Vianna will cut to your liking, your specification, even from a picture. She's versatile and straight up cuts all hair types/styles. There's a reason I've been Vianna's client since 2013. She's one of the best! I've seen her progress throughout the years, and she's only getting better. Her blending, trimming, edge ups, and fades are phenomenal! Like the kids say now days "FIRE!" For her speed and skill set she should be charging way more than she is. But her prices are unmatched and affordable. She always finds time for her clients even if she's completely booked. I don't see myself ever finding another barber!
