I really liked it here, so much so that I ended up essentially working my way through the reds by the glass, on a school night too! It's one of those places where it's too easy to while away the hours.
It describes itself as Preston's best kept secret which could be because it looks completely unassuming from the outside and is down some quite eery stairs. The walls are covered in handwritten names of cheeses and wines which makes it look quite bizarre on entering but adds to the cosy, eclectic vibe overall.
As well as an excellent wine selection (of course) they also have an impressive range of spirits and also decent beers, and a deli counter. If I hadn't been uncomfortably full from lunch at nearby Mundos I would definitely have ordered a few items to share - next time.
Staff were spot on, very friendly and made us feel very welcome. If you're after nice wine and a nice atmosphere in Preston get yourself here. read more
