I even asked if I could e-mail them to get some info and they told me "No". So I called Holiday Beverages! They were happy to answer my call, took the time to go over each of the beers that they carried, and then gave me the prices for each one in each size that they carried (I didn't need any kegs but they offered those prices as well). They told me that they usually have them in stock, and that they could put aside whatever I wanted and hold it for me.

This is a small but well stocked store. I love Ligonier because everything in this town fits in…read morewith the old time feel you have. Everything old and anything newly built is fit for this town. Including this store. As the name states, every wine and spirit you want can be found within. Some chilled wines are available, but everything else is off the shelf. Staff are extremely nice and helpful. The only major complaint for this spot is the fact that when it gets busy, it stays busy. This then makes for some antics in the parking lot. I believe they share a parking lot with some type of club, so when the small lot right next to the store is full, you have to swing around back and walk to the front of the store where the entrance is. Also if you are attempting to leave, it may take some time to do so as there is always a backup in the parking lot.

I've never seen some of the bottles they have on their shelves before, which made it an interesting visit! Along with labeling the sections of wine by country, all the rums and bourbon whiskeys were together and nicely displayed on each shelf! Obviously in this little town, this is the only stop for alcohol, as it is a state store, but nonetheless I would visit it as often as possible even if it wasn't!

Every time I go there it's always a quick in and out process. The owner whomever he may be employs college or right out of high school kids. So expect a little bit of that kind of millennial sluggishness I guess. But that's not even the right word for it. Everyone that I've ran into there is more than pleasant and will answer any questions. Highly recommend.

Problem is there arent too many places in Johnstown (or Pennsylvania for that matter) that sale beer other than bars. So i go to the friendliest distributor in town. Bargain Beer. They have everything from all your domestics to rarer beers and of course my love, Guiness. Its at a great locations and the outside is a poster board for their weekly specials and new adds that you may be interested in or looking for The best novelty about this place is they have a drive thru. You can pull right up to the window. I mean how convenient is that?!?! You dont even have to get out of your car to get drunk. Lol. JK. I dont do that. The service is super friendly and very knowledgeable about their beers and beer specials. They also sale kegs and were nice enough one time to let me borrow a dolly so i could transport and load my own keg. I am a customer for life!!!
