The community boasts a terrific swimming pool with trained lifeguard on duty and a tranquil spa. There is a small play area for tot sized children that is a plus for families. The pool is a gathering place for the development yet it surprisingly quiet. Shaded tables plus lawn chairs are provided to lay out by the pool. I never visited the community room or the tennis courts so I cannot speak to them but the neighborhood overall is nice. There are older people, young families and single professionals all living here. The townhouses, with their two story layout, provide space and yet are compact and easy to care for. This place is close to some shopping and restaurants but seems out in the country at the same time.

And instead of making sure the residences have a permitted car...which should combat the overcrieded cars, they do all this other stuff...which is badically lazy and trying to make money by fining. They should be checking that each unit only has two cars here, or whatever the # is. The Association is The Closest thing,, I can imagine in living under the Gestapo.

The carpet in the staircase up to your apartment is filthy , but they don't clean it. The walls are scratched, have holes and are dirty. They need to be painted, but are not. They have waste management come a couple times a week to empty the dumpsters but they come at 7 am , and the landscapers come at 8 am. They are very loud. People are still sleeping; you would think they could set this up for later in the day. For a luxury apartment it should be better constructed so you don't hear the neighbors. Half the time it sounds like my neighbors are coming through the ceiling. There is no sense of community here. It's just renting a space. Since November and still don't know anyone. No outside community space, no grills, no pools, etc.

I recently visited the Hallmark Homes office and they've a new phase open. New lots have just become available at Stratford at Monroe. They've also built a new "Platinum model" in last 6 months. This development is close to the New Jersey Turnpike exit 8A and NJ Route 130(Off of Station road) in Monroe Township. Price range is bit on high end starting from 675k to 925k for the base models.  They've also built kids playgrounds, swimming pools, club house for the community. With many options for the new construction in this area, I think it's worth checking the model homes if you're in the market to purchase a new home. PS: Builders office is open Daily 11:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. Closed Tuesday & Wednesday.
