It's really thorough in it's exhibits, and has a little bit of everything that made up this Texas Oil Boom-town. It starts with geology, archaeology, and works up through the height of the Oil Boom town where you could see Oil rigs for miles. The pictures are pretty cool and interesting. They also have some preserved newspaper articles about some of the well known outlaws some of the TX rangers were looking for. My great-grandfather was constable of Borger for a couple years, so it's cool to see some of the history in front of us while walking around. There's also some exhibits upstairs on the 2nd floor about local life, the community organizations, etc. All pretty cool and fascinating stuff and a different perspective of life in the Texas Oil Boom-towns. All exhibits are complete with creepy mannequins displaying collections. I was actually impressed with how well taken care of this collection is. My only qualm was the older desk volunteer seemed bored to tears, and was not very helpful when we had some questions. Overall, it's a nice little museum featured in the historic oil boom town in Texas.
