I first went to Ace Hardware in LaBelle, Fl., where i was told that they only cut their key blanks. Asked how much it would cost me if I bought there key blanks and was told that they did not have it in stock (would have to order the key blanks). I attempted to order and was then told that they do not carry my key blanks (2007 Dodge Ram 1500). Bottom line cutting machine available, key and blanks in hand, and could not help me after requesting a supervisor. Ace Hardware was not providing any help at all. I was offered help as I was walking out of the store by informing me that they had a phone number of a locksmith the could resolve my key cutting that day. Great, wonder how much kick back there getting for referrals. I decided to call Builder's Choice Supply, not knowing if they cut car keys. Friendly, staff immediately answered and responded "If you have the blanks we cut them for free." I couldn't believe it, drove over, and in minutes walked out with keys in hand cut for free. Builder's Choice Supply is definitely there to help you without any intentions of making additional monies. I would never return to ace hardware, even if prices were cheaper in the future (hardly ever). I am now a loyal custom to Builder's Choice Supply.

The managers that we have had the pleasure to deal with, Roy, Josh and Roger are always friendly and helpful. The employees like Susan and Sabrina in garden and Liz, Dave, Elizabeth and Cosmo inside the store are always very helpful and pleasant. Buyers BEWARE! We ordered 8ft fencing from Western Fence in January. We made several trips to their…read morelocation in Port Charlotte and Ft Myers to pick up the product due to stock issues. We received fair quote but our card was charged at different instances without explanation of the related charges! The wire was being loaded by two dispatchers when one bailed. No spotter or help for the other one. The single guy continued loading and crushed a roll into the trailer. We were standing against the wall, 10ft away from the load. The office says we were assisting loading and it is our fault. NO REFUND! We were talking to each other about adding a gate. The office says we were directing the forklift operator! INSANE! He didn't even speak English! We told the office that day we will try to utilize it but would return if necessary. They said no problem and thank you. 2 weeks later, we traveled 2 hours to return it and they are now stating by email that we had to obtain a slip and the dispacter at that location didn't have authority to accept the return. He did accept it and told us to set next to the warehouse for the return. There is a lack of competence within the whole operation. They make up policies and procedures as they go, along with charging your card on file with no explanation. Stay away! There are plenty of distributors that know what both hands are doing!

We hired RPI for all of our cabinets in our new house and put down over $18k in September. I…read moreinformed Bob in early November that we wanted the cabinets delivered after the thanksgiving holiday. Nothing was delivered and when I tried to contact him, he did not respond. I eventually talked to him and he just made excuses and said that he was still waiting on some of the order. When I asked when they would arrive, he said he didn't know. It is now over 5 months since we placed the order and he will not respond. This is holding up the completion of our house and have been forced to purchase cabinets from a different company. He has forced me to take legal action to recover my deposit. As others have stated, I would stay clear of RPI. I would rate him 0 or negative but that is not an option.
