Tyler kept me informed through out the whole process. I had many questions and he was helpful, patient and kind. I would highly recommend their services from beginning to end. We priced other cremation services, but they were definitely cheaper than anyone else. They got the job done in a timely manner (We live in Texas and had limited time.) and with no extra charges. I highly recommend going to this establishment for your cremation needs. Thank you, Jennifer! You were awesome! There is one caveat. They do not cremate animals so you may want to look elsewhere for that service.

My husband and I were in the process of moving to Jefferson City with my sister (who was mentally challenged) and our pets. We discovered that my sister was terminally ill and I knew I would have to make funeral arrangements quickly. I remembered how wonderful they were when my father-in-law passed away two years ago. They made an unbearable situation bearable. They got to know me and sat and listened. It was especially hard because we had lost my mother just a year before. They truly cared and when the time came, they let me know that they would take good care of my sister. They were truly concerned with my feelings. I can't begin to say how much I appreciated their care and kindness.

When my dad died last year, Tyler Woods performed the cremation for our family. In addition to…read moreperforming the cremation, he stated he would provide the death certificate. However, after contacting him via telephone at least 4 different times as well as sending emails, we have yet to receive either document or any form of communication from him. Every time I contact Mr. Woods, I get essentially the same response that he's currently busy with another matter and will contact me within a few hours. He has not contacted me once by telephone and has not responded to the email I sent. The total lack of communication is very unprofessional. It shouldn't be necessary for families to constantly pursue routine documents, such as death certificates. I truly hope he does better on both communication and customer service. Empathy, respect, and dependability are required when working in an area where people support families during some of the hardest moments in their lives. The final thing a grieving family member wants to experience is added stress and aggravation due to lack of follow through.

The first big shock was they wanted to charge $500 to drive my mother from their memorial offices a few hundred feet to her grave. When they agreed to lower the fee they said we could use the office van instead of the hearse. They finally decided on the hearse on the day of her funeral. The one request my mother had before she died, which we shared with Memorial Funeral Home, was to be buried under the shade of a tree. We asked to see plots near trees. Memorial guaranteed my mother would be buried under the tree we chose. Memorial said they could not guarantee what would happen to the grounds fifty years or more in the future, but that in the near future, my mother would have her tree. Horribly, one year later, the tree has been removed to make room for more graves. We would have chosen a different park if we knew of their plans. Extremely disappointing!
