While needing services of a funeral home not something anyone ever wants to do I must say that this establishment goes above and beyond the call of duty. My first experience with them was 2004 (16 yrs ago) with the passing of my grandmother, I went with my mother the only surviving child to support her in making the plans. Weeks later her stepfather passed away so we returned to make his arrangements as well. During the month my mother struggled and Freeman's was nothing but compassionate, kind, and professional from start to finish 16 years ago.
As my mother health declined in last 12 months she made it know to my sister and I that she wanted to use Freeman's Mortuary as her mother had, due to the great experience she had years ago. So on 2/16 when it was as time to contact the funeral home Freeman's came to the house within an hour of the call, 3 employees came out that Sunday evening to receive my mother into their care with such dignity. In the coming days the employees we meet had so much pride in the work they do and care they provide your loved ones it showed from every time we stepped into the building weather it was dropping off an obituary photo, balloons to release gave side or requesting a last minute change in songs they did so every time with a smile. The visitation was so relaxed and easy going from the slide show they put together to photos they placed in frames around the room that night of my mother in her last 73 years of glory. From the 9 year old grandson to the 73 year old husband the entire staff provided excellent service during a difficult time. As the service was this morning I look back to 5 days ago when Freeman's first came to take our mother into their care and am so blessed we have this wonderful family centered Mortuary here in Jefferson City to provide a great service. I could not name all the great staff we had working with us this week from your establishment but all I can say is thanks for your work & dedication. read more
