About two months ago, the Dalmatian viciously attacked my dog twice, and we then had to take my dog to the emergency vet to receive stitches and a drainage pump. The owner was not able to take control of the dog. Due to the attack, my dog had several deep puncture wounds on her thigh. The Dalmatian and the owner have been reported to animal control. This person cannot take control of her dog at the dog park, refuses to take responsibility, and pays for the associated emergency vet cost.

On a surprisingly warm November Wednesday my granddaughter had awoken from her nap less than an…read morehour earlier and we needed park time before it got dark outside. I don't like how early it gets dark just after Halloween and we are told to set our clocks back on hour. I picked out this park less than 2 miles from my house so we could enjoy some fresh air & play time in the last few minutes of daylight. I'd been here one other time with her. It was almost dinner time & the park was very peaceful with just a handful of people running, hiking, walking and sitting on a bench listening to a podcast or music on their headphones. It is beautiful here with woodlands on 3 sides and a large open area with a soccer field visible just over a ridge. This play area is bigger than the one at nearby Wells park which is a favorite of ours. There are swings for children of all sizes including adults like me that are still children inside. She is days away from being 3 years old and this is one of her favorite things to do! Being such a bold and great climber she also spent time climbing up the walls on the multiple jungle Jim's here. One of which is quite a high climb. She didn't try the one that jets outward at a slight angle though. The ground here is mulch covered to cushion any possible falls. And if your a slide fan there's a good assortment of them here from short & straight to long and curvy. Older kids can hang on the monkey bars. My granddaughter asked me to lift her up to grab onto them. There is a steering wheel on one platform. We pretended to be driving to the store. Staff was really helpful directed me to where I had to go and answered any questions I had about schedules and possibly throwing my sons bday party here! Staff - 10/10 not usually at front desk I always see them walking around and making sure everything is in check and cleaned up I'm sure that's why this place is so clean as soon as you walk in (This must be why TONY left them a bad review) Parking - 6/10 I think they're building a new lot at the moment Courts - 10/10 these courts look brand new! Turf - 9/10 much needed safety net! I saw some teams practicing there and the kids had plenty of space to run and kick the ball.
