I have moved at least 3 times and there is always something to get rid of. This is THEE PLACE to do it. I can't tell you how many times I look out at my apartment complex and people always leave there bulk trash for their maintenance crew to clean up. That is inconsiderate and disrespectful. I'm a guy that cares about my neighborhood and it's appearance. I also care about disposing of trash and junk the proper way. Respect the environment. The staff that is running this place is very professional and courteous. You do need to be from the area, and you have to show proof that you are a local resident. I had to get rid of a bed/mattress, the staff gave me clear directions what to do, I unloaded the mattress and was out of there in less then 8 mind tops. So easy and felt good.

But Ive had a weird experience at the one in the south side. Long story short I bought a place here in town last year. So as I started to register my vehicle from out of state, I began my journey to get all my cars registered in Texas. So I had an irritating experience at the south side one. The lady at counter told me one thing then when I came back a few months later everything sh3 told was wrong and I wasted months getting everything together. When I returned to a different person told myball that I brought was not needed.. So in short if you have business to get done DONT go to the south side one.

I have solid gold floors, and a helipad on my roof!? But at least they're pleasant when I come in and show them pictures that make my house out to be a dump, and bang my fist on their desk asking them if they're insane thinking my house is worth that! The place is well-kept (it should be, for what I'm paying them!!!) and they blast the a/c, which helps cool hot tempers. I've rarely had to stand in line around there, and they're professional, and show me the data that they're basing their outlandish figures on.

There was abundant parking and clean sprawling parks, benches and pavilions, playgrounds, trails that were lit, a splashpad, and I heard there was a historical building or monument? But I did not locate and experience that yet. This was a part of buying a home here and it made the deal so much sweeter.

This has been my go-to voting site for years and I've always had a great experience!…read more Since this is the official Bexar County Elections Department they always have security at the entrance and they make sure no one using their phone while waiting to vote. I like that this is indoors, so even if there's a line, you are probably going to wait comfortably inside the building. While you wait, they have some amazing posters with some history about voting through the decades and how much it's changed throughout the years. This location has about 15 voting screens, so the line usually moves really quickly. The process is always very seamless and the staff working there is very friendly. Let's go out and vote San Antonio!

I believe the ARB participants need to be replaced with people that are more professional and fair…read more I had a hearing today chaired by Magdalena Hernandez. She completely ignored all the evidence presented and sided with the BCAD, only reducing the valuation slightly. In other words, the process for protesting your taxes in Bexar County is a lot of wasted time for little to no results, in my multiple years doing this. But you have no other choice or the District will crank up your taxes tremendously. This is not the place where you want to own property as an investor. Houston, for example, has a fair and orderly process. I get the sense always that the ARB citizens, who are supposed to be impartial, are actually always trying to get cozy with the District so they can retain their position.
