He has been there since he was an infant, and the impact on his growth has been incredible. Here is why we can't recommend them enough: Developmental Progress: Almost immediately after starting, we saw him hitting his developmental milestones. The environment is both nurturing and stimulating. I really think it is because the teachers here give such great care and attention to each child and the adult:kid ratio is perfect. Genuine Care & Nutrition: You can tell the caretakers truly love these children. They are meticulous about wellbeing and diet, always clearing food choices with us beforehand to ensure we are comfortable with his nutrition. Auntie Ming showed me the kitchen and all the organic food that they were serving the kids and it reassures me how well they are eating! Daily Engagement: Every day is packed with fun, educational activities. I never have to wonder how he's doing because the communication is stellar. I received detailed updates and plenty of photos throughout the day, which gave me such peace of mind while at work. The Personal Touch: On our last day, Auntie Ming gifted us a handmade scrapbook filled with photos of our son's time there. It was so thoughtful it brought literal tears to my eyes! It is rare to find people you can trust implicitly with your baby. To any parents looking for a safe, educational, and deeply loving environment: Auntie Ming's is the gold standard. We are so appreciative of everything they've done for our family!

We originally asked to send my son at around 5M but when I had family over and was able to bridge to 6M she was fine with us enrolling then and held the spot for me. Without any prompting, like the pro that she is, Auntie Ming helped us transition to more solids at 6M, then gradually to whole milk and sippy cups. She also helped my son with sitting to crawling to now walking and talking. She's the absolute best!

From the very beginning, they created such a warm, nurturing, and supportive environment for our son. Ms. Donna's patience is truly unmatched. She played such a huge role in helping our son through potty training with kindness, encouragement, and consistency. We are so grateful for the care and understanding she shows during that stage. Our son is always excited to go to school, and it's because of the love and positive energy he receives from Ms. Donna and Ms. Rosalina every day. He's even learning Spanish. He enjoys all the art projects, yoga sessions and story time at the library. Seeing him happy, confident, and eager to learn means everything! We couldn't ask for a better preschool experience and highly recommend Growing Minds Montessori to any family looking for a caring place for their child.

I'm super grateful with Miss Donna and Rosalina for the hearth and soul they bring every day to help the kids grow so well. Since we joined my son is really happy, plus the parents are awesome and warming that it feels like family. Unfortunately we have to go even my son and I don't want to.

More than anything, we wanted him to be safe, and to be loved. Little Sunshine gets high praise in both of these areas! Ada and her team cared for our son as if he was their own. They made him feel loved, and because of that, he loved coming in there every day. She makes you feel like your child is truly special to her. We also had total trust in the safety of Little Sunshine. It is well-run in every way. They deal with child illnesses well, finding a nice balance between flexibility and community safety. They do a great job of communicating with parents. They cook healthy food for your child every day. They send lots of cute photos of your kids. They are very detail-oriented. Ada runs Little Sunshine with a lot of joy and energy. She seems to love her work, and it shows in her relationships with the children and her parents. We feel so lucky to have found this place, and would send our son back there in a heartbeat. If you get the chance to send your child here, don't hesitate.

I liked that she spoke both Cantonese and Mandarin, so my kids would get exposure to both. She basically helped raise my two kids starting from when they were 4 months old, with the second moving onto preschool soon. My older one still likes visiting, and Ada gives him snacks whenever he does . We experienced bottle refusal in the beginning with both kids, and Ada helped us navigate through it with tips and patience (don't worry, she won't let your baby starve, and she'll even spoon feed them if she has to). She also gives daily progress reports and sends pics frequently to let you know they're doing great. My daughter is 2.5 now, and she happily struts through Ada's door in the morning and doesn't bother to look back at me to say goodbye. She can't wait to go and play with her friends and just do her own thing. She doesn't let me do her hair, yet she comes home from daycare with the cutest pigtails! According to Ada, she eats well and sleeps well at daycare, which I totally believe. Another nice thing is that the older kids get fed supper before pickup, so I don't stress about how much she eats during our family dinner. I drop her off every weekday and go to work knowing she is in great hands. I can't say the same about other daycares I visited, which showed some definite red flags. Even though other daycares may be more flexible with better hours and less holidays, I could tell they prioritized money over the kids. One of them even let us visit the room where several babies were taking their nap, and this was during Covid! In contrast, Ada only does tours after the school day, when all the kids have left and before they do their cleaning/ sanitizing (not disrupting the kids and cleanliness is kind of her thing). If you're looking for a daycare, definitely add Little Sunshine Childcare to your list to visit. Ada isn't your normal Chinese grandma-type who just watches your kids. She has loads of energy and keeps the kids engaged throughout the day with activities (music, drawing), outside time, etc. She's been doing this a long time, so she's seen it all and knows how to raise kids. Both her and Uncle just have great hearts and genuinely care about the kids.

He has grown both socially and academically in such a short amount of time. The teachers are so attentive to the children that I cannot thank them enough for what they do. My child loves coming everyday and never wants to go home. The community that Alpha Kids have built is undeniably strong and the love that the teachers have for the kids is amazing and cannot be more genuine. Our family really enjoyed the co-op experience and supportive parent community. We formed lifelong friendships and made many sweet memories. We enjoyed parent teaching and felt lucky to have the opportunity to watch our daughter explore, learn and develop new friendships. It felt wonderful to be a part of a collective community effort with the goal of providing children with a safe and nurturing space where they can learn, grow and have fun. Miraloma is such a warm and welcoming place! I highly recommend touring in person to really appreciate Miraloma's wonderful space. The school has so many unique assets that affords unique experiences for the children like dancing on stage under a plum tree, harvesting plums from the same tree and making jam! Digging for worms and roly polys in the garden. Planting seeds, observing the growth of plants, harvesting fruits and vegetables and eating your bounty! Cooking up soups and baking cakes in the mud kitchen. Getting cozy in the book nook. Building strength and having fun on the trapeze! Challenging themselves to be brave and finally go down that fire pole. The current Director Rose and Teacher Anne (both began at Miraloma in July 2023) are highly credentialed and have decades of early childhood development experience at preschools. I have seen the tremendous passion and care they have for the children that I have never experienced before. I wish our daughter was able to have spent more time with these amazing teachers before she graduated. The play based and child led approach was wonderful and empowering for our daughter. Every day the teachers set up new and fun experiences and activities for the children, but the kids decide what they want to do. The teachers then build on and adapt the curriculum to support the interests of the kids at any given time. Kids are given the tools and freedom to explore and develop their authentic selves while knowing a loving and supportive adult is nearby if they need help. Anne and Rose are often found on the floor engaging with and connecting with the children. I would venture to say that Anne is the best preschool teacher in all of SF and she shares her insight and wisdom with families in weekly detailed updates. Parents can learn alot from both Rose and Anne. We are forever grateful to Miraloma for providing our daughter with such a wonderful foundation for learning. The Brightwheel app keeps me connected with real-time updates and adorable pictures of my child so I know what he did each day, what he ate, and whether he napped. Teachers Katie and Tiffany are also always available to talk and provide support. Teachers Katie and Tiffany create a warm, encouraging atmosphere, making Little Panda feel like a second family. The structured lesson plans develop a strong well-rounded foundation for each child and focus on academics and social-emotional growth. Twice a year, Little Panda also provides an extremely detailed report of your child's growth and tracks them toward Kindergarten readiness. The class bunny is a plus too.
