This review is long overdue! If I could give them a 10/5 i could! Like many couples in 2020, our wedding was canceled/postponed/rescheduled ALL of the things until finally we settled for 10/2020. I contacted multiple flower shops, including at home options, and Winchester Floral was by far 1. the most helpful 2. the most affordable and 3. DID THE ABSOLUTE BEST JOB. The process for ordering my wedding flowers was painless and simple. I sent some inspiration photos and trusted them with the rest. They even created a special order haku (hawaiian version of a flower crown). My bridal bouquet was magnificent. I asked for "simple versions" for my bridesmaids and they were basically a slightly smaller version of what I had. My bouquet stole the show. Everyone commented on how beautiful it was. I still get compliments when people see my wedding photos. Every person with anything event going on, i refer them to Winchester Floral. I recently had my first child and all my friends ordered specifically from Winchester Floral as they know they are my favorite. Why did I even give one star I don't know, but we had called this past Friday afternoon to see if Winchester Floral could be able to create a wrist corsage and boutonnière for my sons prom the next day. Apparently they were not accommodating nor showed any customer service because we were met with a blunt "No, we cannot and we're only focused on Mother's Day." That was the rudest response I've received by a place of business in a long time. Well they definitely won't receive any business from me. Luckily coming from Manassas, we were able to contact Manassas flower gallery and the had it done same day just as my wife was ready to leave from work. Had flowers delivered and embarrassed by the arrangement of the unfresh flowers and dirty water in vase. I'll never use again.

I have gotten about 5 or 6 arrangements from this place and was happy with all but the last two. I always give them one bad one but when it hits two in a row it is time for me to find another florist. This time as well as the last the flowers were dead in 5 days and half of the lillies and and half of the bells of Ireland never opened. I paid $150 for this arrangement. While I was happy with the size of the arrangement, The length of time before having to throw them away and the flowers never opening was not good. I can't give them 1 star because when they first opened their flowers were awesome. But now I guess they are going to be like the rest and the quality is going to go down. I thought I had a new place to send my wife flowers. Oh well, On to the next florist. read more

Originally, I was going to have a family friend do our flowers, when she bailed a month or two before the wedding, my budget was already pretty tight and we were running out of time! I contacted Stephanie, and she very quickly responded. She worked with me to accommodate my budget, and color scheme. We were able to get 6 bridesmaids bouquets, my bouquet, 4 boutonnieres, 3 corsages, and enough bulk flowers to decorate our 20+ tables, all for around $600. She even sent pictures of bouquets via email, since my schedule didn't accommodate for meeting her in person! When my grandparents were unable to attend the wedding on short notice, and I notified her a few days before the wedding she took them off of our invoice, with no questions asked. The majority of our order were gerber daisies, alstromeria, and green fillers, so I was a little nervous that they might look cheap. When the flowers arrived the day of the wedding I was blown away. Beautiful, and way more than I ever anticipated. If you are looking for a wonderful wedding florist, I highly recommend Winchester Floral. I showed up the day before Valentine's Day in hopes of getting an arrangement for my mother. I called around several places & drove to several places only to see small , half dead, overpriced arrangements. The Winchester Floral had 1 arrangement left and it was BEAUTIFUL! It wasn't really a valentine bouquet but beautiful nonetheless. The great part is, it was only $55..!!!! I loved it, my mother loved it & everyone we sent the pic to asked where we purchased the arrangement & we gladly told them Winchester Floral who is now my one & only go to florist shop. Subpar business! This company has a website that took my order online. I gave a specific time frame and paid extra for this service. The site took my money immediately. I did not receive a phone call or an email and neither did the recipient on the day that it needed to be delivered. I complained via email at the end of the day and the response email said "our apologies but this order did not print out today." My response: I do not understand what that means, "but this order did not print out today." Yesterday was their anniversary. Yesterday she needed a little floral love because her husband died in June.  1- You should never apologize to someone followed by a "but..." because then it is not sincere. 2- Whether or not it printed itself is not an excuse when you have a website that takes orders and money from people. 3- Whether or not it printed itself is not an excuse when you have people relying on your business for a specific time frame. I had other business options for choosing a flower delivery service and I relied on yours. You let me down. Your response has let me down.  No, I do not wish to work with your business ever again. I wish to have my money refunded immediately. I would advise in the future, if your business makes a mistake, simply apologize. You should refund the customer. You should still fulfill the order and apologize to the receiver for the delay. That would have been better business restitution. read more

I'm visiting Winchester from Texas for an extended period, so my husband sent roses. I was and am determined to leave a comment on Yelp because of the outstanding quality of the beautiful bouquet delivered to my hotel. Every flower in the arrangement was fresh and the roses so fragrant. They, the roses, opened to full bloom in a few days and have remained lovely over 2 weeks later! DO NOT USE THIS BUSINESS! They lied to me and said they tried to deliver flowers for my birthday. Did not call-said they left message. Later found out by the owner that they did not even try to deliver because they could not get in touch with me. What delivery business does that, calls first and then if no contact don't attempt to deliver? my family was at home to accept the delivery no problem. The next day finally they delivered to my business and the flowers were a MESS. Wilted, brown and looked horrible. Took them back and the customer service was horrific. no apology, and the business owner and the cashier were rude, unhelpful, pointing finger at me and laughing at my concerns. There are other places to go Please use another business that cherishes customers and values opinions. This place is HORRIBLE read more

I got a surprise floral bouquet from my sister for my birthday. When they tried to deliver it, no one was home so they called and left a message for me to call them. I did and we arranged for a time to bring the bouquet to my house. It was just lovely with all my favorite flowers, sunflowers and daisies and more. It was so gracefully arranged but the amazing thing is that the arrangement lasted for over 2 weeks. I kept the arrangement as it was, merely emptied the water from the vase each day, then added fresh water. Thanks to Stephanie and Winchester Floral, my special day was showered with breathtaking flowers. It was even more gorgeous than I ever could have imagined. The most important aspect of the flowers, for me, was my bouquet. When it was delivered to the bridal cottage shortly before the bridal party photo session, I could hardly believe someone could make me a bouquet so beautiful. I carried that thing around all afternoon with so much pride! Regarding Stephanie, she was so easy to work with. Did not rush or pressure me through any of the processes. She allowed me to book her without giving her all of my specifics. As a procrastinator, this was super helpful to me. She also helped navigate me through the best flower options to achieve my vision for the day. Her familiarity with the different flower options was impressive--especially for someone as naïve as myself when it comes to flower types. She went above and beyond to make sure all of the flowers were in pristine condition for each event of the day. The arbor was delivered later in the afternoon for the 5 o'clock ceremony. The loose flowers were delivered in the morning so we could arrange them ourselves, as we had requested. And the bouquets, corsage, and boutonnieres were delivered earlier in the afternoon just before our separate photo sessions. We hired Winchester Floral for our May outdoor wedding at a vineyard in Purcellville. Stephanie was a dream to work with! She totally nailed my style -- rustic, with lots of textures and a variety of non-traditional flowers (think succulents, greens, berries, eucalyptus, artichoke flowers, etc). So many guests commented on how unusual and beautiful all of the arrangements where. Our bouquets were a mix of amazing smells, colors, and perfect for the rustic wedding setting.
