Engaging Story by a young African-American man who said he was from Louisiana. Said he had been in…read moretrouble but now he had been selling these magazines for the last 9 years and it's kept him off the streets. He did mention that my neighbor two doors down bought $300 worth, 3 magazines per month for three years, but had them sent to the women's shelter. This is what set the hook, is that would be something my neighbor would do. After giving this young guy a check for $120, I called my neighbor who said he had made no such purchase and had told the guy, "no deal"". I wish I had. Now it looks like I'll spend tomorrow dealing with the bank to stop the check. Totally a sales scam.

It's a shame those people are using their talent of being able to sell you something in a somewhat cool and entertaining way only, to at the end of the day, literally steal from you. ( I guess that on its own is a talent as well) We Ordered a children's book back in Feb and still nothing, tried calling a billion times no answer. Left messages, no answer. One time I actually had someone answer and they told me to call back if I don't receive it by May, and as of now, June 13, still nothing. I'm going to report them. I have the receipt they gave me which has some info, so maybe someone with some authority can deal with them. I'm considering this purchase a loss, we're out $65 cause it seems I will never get the book or money back. Whatever you do, don't fall into their trick. As a matter of fact, if they ever show up, call the cops and let them know a robbery is about to take place.
