I arrived early and was pleasantly surprised my room was ready. When checking in, I got a small bag with a couple of water bottles and a couple of snacks too! The elevators are quick and efficient! My room was clean and very spacious. My room included a kitchenette, couch, and even a washer and dryer! The bathroom was very spacious and there were a few closets too. I also had a lovely view of the ocean from my balcony. The hotel was quiet and I slept peacefully. There are some great restaurants and bars within walking distance which I really appreciate. Overall, I recommend this hotel and would gladly book again.

While my aircraft was in route Florida from California the hotel canceled my reservation. They claimed this was due to the credit card not processing. When I called from the airport, I was told, basically, too bad we had others waiting for the room. I had to put up a fight, as you might expect. Had I not put up a fight, I would have been out of luck. In the end the desk clerk realized the horrible mistake he had made and made everything good. I like the location. Easy walk to dozens of restaurants. I had a 10th floor room on the intercoastal waterway side. Great view and comfortable room, although the rooms are very dated. Restaurant in the hotel is fantastic. I love the laundry machines in the room. That made keeping it close clean a breeze.

The lobby got a great makeover and the updated room had a fresh and modern look. This time we splurged and got a Presidential 3BR suite and it was gorgeous. The room had a massive wrap around balcony and the view from there and the room itself was absolutely amazing. Though, our stay was not without its issues such as recurring AC problems. Luckily the staff was attentive and fixed the issue after some time. If I could offer any feedback on our experience, it would be to put some key essentials in the room. We had a full size kitchen but there were no paper towels, dish towels, dish soap, dishwasher tablets, sponges, or even basic things like salt and pepper. The bathrooms too didn't have hand soap, an adequate amount of body wash, or even a place to hang towels. Another concern I plan to mention to management was the fact that people were throwing things from the rooftop lounge down onto our balcony, including straws, drink stirrers, food and, worryingly, a knife. If anyone would have been sitting on the deck when the knife was thrown it could have been a major issue. In the end, the room was absolutely breathtaking. With a few improvements it could be even better. Overall 4 stars. I could see myself returning in the future.

Staycation approved!…read more We spent a few nights at the Conrad Fort Lauderdale Beach this summer (in August) and really enjoyed it. We used points benefits from one of our credit cards. The location is fantastic, as it is directly across the street from the beach. Hotel guests have access to beach chairs, and can order cocktails while sunning on the sand. Check in was smooth, the staff was friendly and helpful, and there are even free bikes available for guests. Our upgraded suite was beautiful and had a small kitchen, which was a nice bonus. We had a partial view of the ocean. The bathroom amenities deserve their own mention. The shampoo, soaps and lotions were AMAZING. It's called Byredo, Mojave Ghost. Of course, I looked them up afterward and quickly realized why they were so good and came with a hefty price tag. The rooftop pool has a bar nearby and plenty of opportunity to just relax and do absolutely nothing, which is kind of the point of a staycation. There are two restaurants on property. The Italian restaurant was merely okay, but the Asian restaurant was excellent, and had Beautiful views of the shore, great food, and both the brunch and dinner menus were impressive. The gym is on the smaller side but had everything we needed for a workout. Even included a Peloton. I took a complimentary yoga class on the beach provided for hotel guests. Towels were provided so all I needed was my water bottle. Overall, this is a great South Florida staycation spot. Great location, beautiful property, excellent amenities and genuinely lovely staff. We would definitely come back.

If you're booking the Courtyard Marriott in Fort Lauderdale with the expectation that the elevated…read moreprice tag signals an elevated experience, temper those expectations. This property has the bones of a solid stay, but the value equation just doesn't add up. Rooms & Atmosphere: The rooms are clean and functional, and the location is undeniably convenient if you're hopping on a cruise or need quick access to the airport. But for the nightly rate--often pushing well beyond what a standard Courtyard typically commands--you expect something a bit more polished, a bit more modern, a bit more... worth it. Instead, it feels like you're paying premium-resort pricing for mid-tier accommodations. Food & Dining: Here's where things really fall apart. The on‑site food is sub‑par at best and extremely overpriced. Think cafeteria‑level quality at steakhouse prices. A simple breakfast sandwich shouldn't cost what a full brunch does elsewhere in Fort Lauderdale, and yet here we are. The Bistro concept can work at other Courtyards, but at this location it feels like an afterthought--uninspired, bland, and nowhere near aligned with the cost. Service: Staff are friendly and do their best, which helps soften the edges, but even great service can't compensate for the mismatch between price and product. Overall: This Courtyard leans heavily on its location and brand name, but the experience doesn't justify the premium. If the rates were more in line with what you actually receive, this would be an easy 4‑star stay. As it stands, the high price point and disappointing food drag it down. If you're looking for convenience and don't mind overpaying for the basics, it'll get the job done. But if value matters, you'll want to explore other options in the area. Good Luck

One of the perks of being a Travel Advisor is getting to plan and book my own trips. For this stay,…read moreI booked three nights under my Bonvoy account and an additional night under my husband's. We arrived in the evening, and check‑in was quick and easy. I let the front desk know about the second reservation under my husband's name, and they added a note to the file. I also received a small bag with two complimentary waters. Be aware that the hotel charges additional fees for early check‑in, and parking is $10 per day. You'll need to scan a QR code to register your vehicle. The property is not near the ocean, so there are no ocean‑view rooms. Our room (506) had a balcony overlooking the parking lot. The carpet looked newer, and the bathroom was a good size with a spacious shower. However, there was some peeling paint on the ceiling, and the bathroom water had a yellow tint, which I'm not sure is typical for the area. The bed was firmer than I prefer, though my husband found it comfortable. The pillows were not great, but the front desk quickly provided firmer replacements when I requested them the next day. During checkout of my reservation, housekeeping stopped by to confirm whether we had vacated the room. Once my husband explained that we had another night booked, they were satisfied. Checkout itself was smooth--the young woman assisting us was kind, patient, and even printed our luggage tags. The location is convenient, with plenty of restaurants and stores nearby, and parking was easy. One thing to note: the main lobby is not connected to the lodging buildings.
