It was an incredibly difficult and emotional time, and I chose Wilson Associates because of their big name and reputation in town. Unfortunately, what I found is that behind the brand, there is no depth, no compassion--and no real expertise. Despite being in business for over 20 years, they clearly had no idea how to handle an estate sale. Rather than working with a qualified professional, they randomly brought in an inexperienced attorney who didn't understand the process, adding confusion, delays, and emotional strain to an already overwhelming situation. Things only got worse. Alexis threatened to de-list the home out of personal frustration, not because of anything wrong with the property, and then refused to speak with me for nearly a year--from August 2024 to March 2025 -- including throughout the close of the sale of the property (from which she made $20,000). This was a blatant violation of her ethical and fiduciary obligations as a REALTOR®. Her actions were driven by ego, not professionalism, and showed no regard for my best interests as her client. Had I not known Alexis's boss, Sharon Wilson, the owner of the firm, who is the mother of a high school friend--and called in a favor, the sale may have been irreparably harmed. That connection saved me. Without it, I would have been completely unprotected from Alexis's ego-driven decisions. That's not how real estate should work. That's not how clients should be treated--especially not by a firm that claims to be a leader in the market. Wilson Associates may have the name recognition, but they lack the basic competence and ethical standards that truly matter. If you're dealing with anything sensitive--especially an estate--do yourself a favor and look elsewhere.

After initial inspection was conducted, two weeks later I had to ask him get the roof inspection scheduled. He never got more than two receipts out of seven repairs that sellers were supposed to have completed. I had to ask him to schedule final walk through appts. None of which he ever attended. He never personally ever went to the home, not once. Oh, but he collected his fees at closing for doing absolutely nothing! Sellers never fixed a few important items, dinged up the place moving, and left it incredibly filthy!! Again, he wouldn't know, he's never been there.
