We still have a ways to go but I am seeing the light at the end of the tunnel. I'm a father in another state with a daughter in Ypsi. Ms. Novar really has been working hard so I can see my daughter first Skype than visits. I can only speak on my experience but if you have been getting shafted by foc recommendations and you know you deserve more. Start putting some cash aside and hire Ms. Novar. It's worth the money, and honestly she is less expensive than alot of the other lawyers I called around to. Plus she seemed more receptive to me. I left with the impression she'd agreed to be my attorney -- she told me she would take my case and she explained in depth the cost structure and how to leave a retainer. I needed a couple of weeks to work out the money situation, and when I came back to sign up with her, she never responded to my attempts to make contact. I later called and a secretary told me this is common practice for Ms. Sendlebach -- she will charge you for a consultation and then ghost you if she decides she doesn't want to take the case. Honestly, I feel scammed out of $650. She could have just said she wasn't taking new clients and I would have gone elsewhere. Or if she said during our conversation that my case seemed too complicated for the time she has open, I would not have continued sitting there talking to her about my case. This is a very stressful time in my life, and I would not recommend using Ms. Sendlebach until she changes her policies.

This is a simple divorce, no children. Just a property division. They filed a motion for spousal support that Raimi told me should never have been filed. Shalini was always confused and lacked clarity in her conversations and work with me. She would call and blab at me just to run up my tab. She never followed through on what she said she would do. She missed a deadline and the court ruled against me. She was completely ineffective. Her knowledge of the law was incorrect. Diana Raimi is arrogant and ineffective. I was shocked at how I was treated, and I'm shocked by their arrogance. I'm actually more shocked at what weak, wet noddles of attorneys they are. Totally scared to stand up and advocate for me. Weak. I will be grieving both of these attorneys and have a list of detail behavior that violate the professional ethics standards.
