But the nurturing environment of the middle division helps the kids navigate these adolescent years. Mitchell's curriculum is outstanding and the teachers/administration truly care about each and every child there. I, myself, am a single mom on a VERY limited low income/budget and never once felt "excluded" or "unqualified" for any type of participation regarding ANYTHING at Mitchell. I went to a wedding ceremony here this past weekend and it was absolutely lovely. It faces the…read morewater and is right on Bayshore Blvd. It appears to be a school, but we only went to the church part. Our uber dropped us off in front, which was the main entrance to the church. We walked down a long hallway to get to the nave. It was a great spot for a ceremony. It was really intuitive and people from the bride's family were along the hallway guiding us to go forward. There was even the sign of the bride and groom which confirmed we were going the correct way. There was a gender neutral single bathroom in the hallway to the nave. This was my first catholic wedding ceremony and it was beautiful. There were readings and songs. My favorite part was when the priest shared some advice, guidance, and prayers for the married couple. He was very welcoming, kind, and encouraging. It was a great ceremony.
