He walked me through potential moisture issues that can come up and how to mitigate them so that I get the best life out of the floor. We had a very thorough conversation of products that other competitors offer in the area and the pros and cons of them. Best of all, I believe the price they charge for the coating is extremely fair for what you get. Because I really love working in the garage and wanted the longest life of the floor possible, I opted to go with a bulletproof coating option, way more than he would recommend as well as custom color flakes picked by me. They definitely were willing to do the custom work without question. Andrew provided a sample to me and made sure I was very happy with the plan before moving forward. They installed the flooring very quickly. Best of all, my house did not smell like a chemical warehouse when all was said and done. They use very low VOC products and I was happy to personally verify that. I have had flooring done in the past by other places and some of the products that are out there can really make you regret your purchase when you smell them in your home or office. After I noticed some settlement issues, I called a few companies in the area to get quotes on repairs. AW&FR offered me a very reasonable price, didn't try to sell me anything I didn't need, and I felt no pressure to sign anything. This was not the case with every company, and AW&FR felt they could achieve the same results with half the cost. The contract was very simple to understand and Ed set very clear expectations on scope of work, date of work, and time to complete, and felt confident this would address the settlement issues. Mike, Ed, and the team came by yesterday and installed 6 helical piers on my property while having to work around some complications with underground utilities. They were able to lift the house a few inches and I can already notice the improvement in my floors. I have attached a previous crack repair on my brick veneer. After the house lift, the crack sealed itself. They left the work site with the expectations I had and that were in the contract, which was disturbed, level grade soil. The final price was what was agreed to, and there were no surprises. If you need work done on your foundation and want it done by normal, hardworking people at a reasonable cost, I would highly consider contacting AW&FR.
