They were like "the dentist isn't going to want to touch a tooth another dentist worked on. I said this tooth was not touch by anyone. This is a whole different tooth. I have an exposed nerve. I was recommended to them and they also take our insurance. I'm not done with this situation. I will be calling the BBB. What a way to treat potential clients. These woman had zero clue what they were talking about. No matter how many times I told them my tooth had never been worked on, it didn't matter. Also let's say my tooth was worked on and not getting better? Wouldn't any normal person switch dentists? This is not my case but it happens all the time. I had…read morealready decided to just extract the tooth if repair cost too much- rather than have it properly fixed. I saw Dr. Olbrys on short notice, and luckily the tooth was fine. UN-fortunately I have a good amount of bone loss, and even some gum disease- that caused this current infection. SMOKING and COFFEE have had a poor effect on my 61 year old mouth. I was prescribed an antibiotic and advised on some better hygiene methods that would improve my gum health. I was never made to feel dirty or dumb! Though of course I need to stop smoking! I made an appointment for a cleaning-(it was so affordable I was angry I waited!) By the time my cleaning came around, the infection was healed. But the true highlight WAS my cleaning. The technician was professional and really took the effort to explain things and to make sure I was comfortable. She took the extra effort to really clean even my most coffee stained lower front teeth. I was worried the lady's hands would get tired! The office rejected my wish to send my existing X-rays and pocket depth records when I called and made an appointment, requiring me to repeat testing that had already been done. The X-ray process took 40 minutes and was very painful which I am not used to in previous annual cleanings, but the hygienist was great and helped normalize that most patients say it's uncomfortable as well. She and the man who greeted me in-person at the front desk are the only reason this is not "0" stars. Dr. Attal showed little interest in my existing documentation or the urgency of my situation, which was very frustrating to me since I was experiencing pain. I was asked to schedule yet another separate appointment just to re-measure pocket depths already on file. Not every patient has the time or financial resources for repeated appointments and duplicate testing, especially when dealing with a painful gum condition requiring prompt treatment. I left feeling dismissed and no closer to the treatment I needed. I will now be driving 7 hours one way to see my previous dentist because Lalor was unwilling to provide the care I need. I would not recommend Dr. Attal to patients who come in with existing records or complex dental needs.

As a patient subscribed to their Facebook page, I had run across a negative review fairly recently that expressed some disappointing news. I thought maybe the last couple of times I'd brought my kids in for appointments, that maybe this same assistant doesn't always act in such ways, but it seems that similar issues were experienced by other patients as well. Regardless, it didn't take long for this review to be taken right down, as the office was clearly worried about their image being tarnished. If you notice, the majority of reviews this office has (*allows you to see*) are positive. But now we are seeing that they just remove anything that is said about them that could be considered remotely negative and replace them with fake reviews that don't even show that actual patients even wrote them (?? corny, but okay). They have completely removed the ability for patients to leave reviews on their Facebook page as well as their actual website at this time (so it definitely seems that these 5 star reviews they're giving themselves are completely fabricated). And while I agree that maybe Facebook isn't really the place to call someone out by name on their faults, this office has no problem publicly posting pictures of these same exact assistants along with cringe-worthy Tik-Tok videos on all of their social media accounts (is anyone going to tell them that they're allowing their own employees to embarrass themselves?). Their social media image is more important to them than anything all while promoting themselves as being ever-so-privileged to be able to provide "high-quality" care to their patients, as if they were their own "family". How can you provide quality care to any degree when your faces are in your phones half the day? What a severe disappointment. Dr. Perna himself always provided such a genuinely comfortable and welcoming atmosphere and DID promote quality care for many years.I guess times have changed and they don't really care what kind of individuals they hire at this point.
