Summary: 4.0 - Free and art go hand-in-hand here. If you like both, NC MoA is worth your time…read more Free admission to the NCMA to see art and history is a gift. If one doesn't mind the West Building (although new, it felt old to me), the different galleries containing historical art pieces (new and old, and very old) organized by continents are educational and surprisingly full of variety. The East Building (original one) hosts both permanent and limited-time collections. I've enjoyed a car exhibit, but my favorite limited-time exhibit featured Academy Award winner Ruth E. Carter's costumes for the movies "Black Panther", "Selma", "Amistad", and others. Her showcase exhibit was well worth the price of admission. A huge museum park provides miles of trails and places for picnics. If one plans accordingly, a series of trails connects all the way from the museum to downtown Raleigh! MISC Opened in 1956. Has pieces that originate from about 5,000 years ago (but thankfully it doesn't take that long to go through the museum). The museum is accessibility-friendly. A museum store and café are onsite. Tours are available. Outdoor concerts are on hiatus at the time of this review for "facility improvements." Be sure to check the museum's website for updates.

Nate was exceptional, he took his time giving us a full history about each bottle of wine served. (with enthusiasm) Teresa kept the group entertained with a spontaneous raffle that everyone enjoyed. We stayed for dinner at Lane' Steakhouse and Seafood. The food was fresh and prepared to order! After dinner, we retreated outside to enjoy a BEAUTIFUL view of the vineyard. I attended a wine tasting in Mykonos Greece several months ago that is no comparison to our experience at Gregory's in the good ole USA! If you were thinking about going, go! You will not be disappointed! Happy tasting! Allissa

I shared some of the ideas I had and they took it from there! I had a lot of other planning that needed to go into the trip - so it was really helpful that they were able to take the load off in choosing the destinations, hotels and selecting activities in each of the cities. They also kept me in check by following up regularly and scheduling occasional zoom calls to make sure everything was lining up the way I'd envisioned. I was so impressed with their hotel selections and general travel knowledge - it really shows their passion for travel and creating amazing experiences for their clients. Their services also don't end when the trip begins - they provide access to your daily itinerary through an app - with clickable links to destinations and activities. They also are able to accommodate last minute changes - when I ended up with a cold on the 2nd day - they were able to modify my future reservations so that I could stay in one location longer to recover. Overall the services they provided were priceless and I will continue to have them plan my future personal and business travel.
