I've stayed at Cedars about 3 or 4 times now and there are things that I love and do not love about…read moreit. It's right off of the Trans-Canada Hwy, so it's easily accessible. Rates are not cheap but prices do include hot water showers and flush toilets. The women's restroom facility is not fancy and even though I appreciate the toilets, I find the showers a little greebly and actually prefer to use my camping shower when the weather is nice. The facility can get very busy because of the amount of women using the two available showers as well as the electrical outlets for hairdryers, etc. It's not cleaned as often or as thoroughly as it could be (although I know its cleaned once per day for sure) and they allow for a build-up of spider webs, which grosses me out because there are usually large spiders in them. Nonetheless, it certainly is better than a rotten smelling port-a-potty. There are some great, roomy tent sites with decent picnic tables. Others have very shoddy tables with minimal privacy and shade. The campground itself doesn't seem to get very busy so if you arrive early enough, you can get your pick of sites. As a group, we get the same one every year because we feel it's the best of the non-serviced tent sites (#67). It has shade, privacy, lots of room for two tents and vehicles and there's a water tap beside it. You can purchase necessities at the store such as wood, ice and snacks. The wood is always dry and the pieces are small enough that you can use a hatchet instead of an axe. I prefer to purchase everything else before I arrive or in Sicamous, which is about a 10-15min drive away. There's also a laundry facility, pool and hot tub in the main building, but I've never used them. I've walked around the RV park, which I think is lovely and very family friendly. The restrooms are considerably nicer. I will keep coming back to Cedars because it's peaceful and can get really hot weather. You definitely feel like you've escaped the city.

Great site off the Trans Canada. Not really noisy. Site manager very friendly. Sites are far enough…read morefor privacy. Nice water. Bathrooms could use some updating but adequate. Nice trails around the place. A very calm and nice place for camping would do it again in a heartbeat.

We stopped here on a road trip. Its cute. This is a family run resort with a public access ($)…read morespring fed pool onsite. The male owners were kind and eager to serve you. They were filled up so we simply did some simple car camping. Our site was not very private, in fact it felt to the lone motorcyclist camper and us that we were sharing a site but it worked out fine as we were all weary travelers just looking to sleep. The facilities were as expected except only one shower worked in the washroom and there was no hot water . There is a little shop for camping and swimming essentials and limited convenience store style foods. There are no stores nearby. The use of the pools are not included nor discounted and they are shared with public guests. That was fine though. The woman at the desk was a bit less there to please and moreso trying to upsell ( trying to push a pricier full day pass for pool at 7pm knowing full well i couldn't use it more than once. Its a resort amenity ( the only one except restrooms and a few picnic tables ) A simple soak in the pool really should be included in the resort camping price. Note that all gates are closed at night and reopened in the am except for one in the back of the property, No one mentioned this so when i needed to leave early, i felt i was locked in. Overall, Its a nice stop, It is well monitored and maintained.

Lovely hot springs campground tucked in the middle of snow capped mountains. Very family friendly,…read moreand my kids (7 &3) enjoyed an afternoon in the pool. All staff we encountered seemed very welcoming. If you want high end look elsewhere. If you want hot springs and a relaxing afternoon then this may be your place.
