TaDarrol came in after the hygienist completed my series of introductory x-rays to go over the results with me. TaDarrol had a pleasant disposition, kind eyes and seemed very genuine as he described what he saw. I explained my own philosophy as to how I approach treating suspected cavities and he listened and ultimately respected my wishes without argument. TaDarrol did offer me a prescription strength flouride toothpaste to aid me in my approach to naturally remineralizing weak spots, which I really appreciated. My first impression of TaDarrol is good, I liked him as a person in my first meeting. I will review the office staff under the Linderhof Family Dental Care's Yelp profile.

Of course we reached back out to this practice and the run around began. Most importantly she needs to see a specialist because of course this office billed the insurance companies. Dr. Johnson explained that he would make sure the office staff contact our insurance company's, explain the situation and reverse the charges so she wouldn't have to pay anything out of pocket or if she has to it would be very minimal. An appointment was made immediately with the specialist..get to this appointment and because Linderhof Family Dental Care had already billed for the same procedure weeks prior we would have to pay full out of pocket price..Please understand this situation and consider before it happens to you or your loved one. The front office staff can make or break any office. Christina (?) office manager as she proudly states is the cause we've withdrawn all six family members from this office. Very rude, unprofessional are just a few words that'll I'll correlate to her. Dr. Johnson is a very good dentist and we get it...things can go wrong..HOWEVER what we dont get is how front office staff can totally be disrespectful, unprofessional make your office lose money and remain. September 22, 2026, unfortunately my wife is still in agony and immense pain just to speak to Christina yet again unfortunately, she has to get with her AR about reversing the charges that her office billed but she doesn't know how to do it. ..also, stated once its figured out it could still take up to 60 days to be removed from our insurance companies..it's not Dr. Johnson that we have issues with..its his front office staff. Unfortunately, our only course of action at this point is to reach out to the dental board to address our concerns regarding this surgical procedure that was done and how it has caused complications afterwards. Preventing her seeing a specialist because staff..doesn't know how to reverse charges from the insurance companies we have. We're stunned to say the least. Please go elsewhere for your dental needs.

I have been a patient at this office for several years. Despite this, every time I called requesting a callback, I never received one. About four weeks ago, the tooth became sore for about a week. The following week, I went in for a routine cleaning. The hygienist was great, and I mentioned the pain I had experienced. She took an X-ray and said she did see something concerning, and that Dr. Schmieder would reach out to me. Three more weeks passed with no call. I finally reached out again, and I still never spoke to Dr. Schmieder directly. The only communication I received was from the front desk. The secretary called and informed me--very casually--that the doctor said I have an infection in the tooth, that I need antibiotics, and that I need to see a specialist. There was no urgency, no offer to bring me back in, and no explanation that the root canal may have failed. I have now been dealing with an infected tooth for weeks, an infection that could potentially spread to other parts of the body. Yet not once did the doctor call me personally to explain the situation or apologize for the lack of communication. This is unacceptable. I plan to file a complaint with the Missouri Dental Board and am considering legal options as well. My name is Richard McCabe. I posted this review on Thursday--it's now Friday--and still no call. Dentists may work four days a week, but in my line of work, no matter how busy I am or whether I'm off the clock, I always return my customers' calls. The Good: They scheduled me for the same week in which I called. I was very surprised and happy that they confirmed they took my insurance and agreed to get me in so quickly for an exam. The Bad: the day of the appointment they called to discuss the details of my arrival. I told the staff I only wanted a physical exam and then a cleaning, but no x-rays for health reasons. After conferring with the dentist, the staff member told me x-rays were mandatory and would be necessary for a treatment program. As I don't have any issues, only a desire to receive prophylaxis care to keep it that way, I only wanted to buy the service I needed. Aspen dental opted to cancel my appointment for my refusal to receive extra services, rather than just do an old fashioned oral exam and cleaning/polishing. Not impressed. Customer service has seemed to plummet in recent years; turning away clients who won't be upsold is no way todo business.

They are not my friends. They are my dental support team for the care of my teeth. In this regard, they exceeded my expectations. I am recovering from 3 hours of the removal of an infection and a temporary crown this morning. This afternoon, I am not in pain and do not require pain reliever. That's a first. Looking at the price for the crown, it is consistent with what I was charged by my previous dentist before I moved into this area. This is not the first time I've seen negative reviews based on personalities but at the end of a long day, I want to know how good this dentist is, not if they can be buddy buddy with me. What I found was a 5 star dentist with excellent dental skills. The addage is that you get what you pay for but I see superior dental care within the realm of what is expected for dental care costs. I have an overbite. Invisalign has been recommended but i can see why. My front lower tooth is butting up against my tooth front teeth. This recommendation is one that is needed. The staff did not recommend any cosmetic dentistry. They recommended what was needed. It is very hard to wade through reviews and pick a dentist based on reviews, but I want to let this one stand as a factual and experiential review of an outstanding dentist who is professional. I would rather have an excellent dentist who maintains professionalism and excellence of dental care than be a chummy friend. However, as she drilled for my crown you see, she paused every few minutes to ask how I was feeling, and she asked if the pain control from the shot was working for me. She is sensitive to her patients, she crosses her t's and she dots her i's. She's officially my dentist and I know that with her and her staff, I'm in good hands. 5 stars given.
