I was referred by a friend to this clinic. I was very happy with my experience! It's so clean and when you first walk in there is a welcome board with the names of all their new patients. Karen was amazing and you can tell they all have a deep love for animals. Dr Hayes took his time explaining everything and answering my questions as well as asking questions about my Mena. Dr Hayes even brought Mena a special treat because she didn't want the one she was first offered. I usually feel a bit rushed when at her previous vet but not here. This is "my" vet. I've been going to Williamsburg Vet for years and have even tried a couple of other vets in that time. Well, I learned my lesson with trying to change vets because Dr. Hayes and his staff are as good as it gets. I love my fur-family and I want the best for them, so Williamsburg Vet is the place. Our place. Yes, they can be pricey compared to some other vets but the quality is what is important here. You might also find that there is a little wait if you have an appointment but once you get in the room, you will see why. These folks care and they take their time with EVERY patient. They ask questions, they give options and make sure to explain issues that might be going on with your pet. I even think Dr. Hayes explained something to me in such detail that it was down to molecules! I love that and it is how I want my pets to be treated. Respect ... raise your paws in the air! Dr. Hayes is also VERY good with animals and has been known to get on the floor with my dogs to make them more comfortable. Today, I brought in my new rescue cat for a visit and he examined him inside his crate to keep him comfortable. Its the little things that make the biggest difference. I've also had a few emergencies (or what I thought were emergencies) and they did not hesitate to fit me in their already busy day. Horrible place, horrible people. Not an ounce of compassion when our family dog was bleeding out. Was told it "wasn't an emergency" and it could "wait until her appointment the following week." She didn't even make it to her appointment since she passed away that Sunday before her said appointment was scheduled. I love this place!!!! As someone who considers my pets my kids, I am very particular about who sees my kiddos and I trust Dr. Hayes more than any other vet I have encountered. I have recommended him to my friends and family and every one has raved about him and his staff. I was really stressed when my dog had to go under sedation for surgery and they knew how nervous I was and they gave me phone calls with updates and one tech even made a special bandage for him and took pix. Every experience I have had here has been wonderful. Hayes doesn't try to over sell you on things either and always provides options with that understanding that everyone's budget for their pets is different. 5 stars for Dr. Hayes! So nice, so helpful. Got my first fur-baby from Orange County Animal Services last week and brought him in for evaluation yesterday. Make sure you set aside some time because while it will take a little longer than some other vets, that extra time is spent loving on your pet, building trust, and making sure you're comfortable with any information and everything that's going on. My new poodle was pretty itchy when we went in and Dr. Hayes prescribed him some allergy meds and it already seems to be working wonders. No waking up in the middle of the night to him scratching or chewing. We are so lucky to have a such a great place right in the neighborhood. read more

We've been taking our Ron Furgundy here since we got him about 7/8 months ago and have had no complaints. A small sample size of only 2/3 visits but nonetheless each visit has been great with the staff and Dr. Graves consistently going the extra mile. I can sympathize with others saying it is pricey, however this is my first pet and have never been to another vet to compare pricing. Also, this location is ideal for us location-wise and I have no problem coughing up some dough if it means a healthy & happy companion! For some procedures, shop around if you feel the price is too high... We need to get Ronnie fixed for instance and the Pet Alliance of Greater Orlando has rates that pale in comparison ($45 vs. an estimate at the vet of over $240!!!). All-in-all this vet offers a great experience for you and your pet, with the care and service of the staff and doctors being the chief reason why! read more

The drug store requested the prescription from them for flea protection, they denied it.and they told me they can sell without the drug store (which they used to do before but 30% more expensive). They don't give you options. My friend called them to ask how much the spay surgery cost, they said you have to make an appointment, they can't tell you even the approximately price... My dog had a spot on his leg that I wanted to haves checked out, so I took him to the Williamsburg Veterinary Clinic. Everyone was nice as pie and provided excellent service. The doctor spent a good amount of time with my dog and explained what was going on - a minor skin infection on the dog's leg. Even got down on the floor with my dog and gave him peanut butter! Now why the 2-stars? Well the spot on the leg set me back $267! At that price, they should have been serving champagne & cheese in the lobby! No wonder the person at the desk said, "don't shoot the messenger" when he handed me the bill. If anything, you need to ask how much every time they suggest a service. For instance, it was recommended that my dog receive an antibiotic shot instead of pills as it was easier than administering pills on a daily basis. I thought, sure why not! That shot was $100! Had I known the price tag, I would have opted for the pills... So nice Doctor and clean location, but you better ask for prices before they administer treatment. It can start adding up fast at this location - that pretty office didn't pay for itself. read more

Dr. Hayes and his team are amazing, truly that is the best word for it. I have been taking animals to the vet for my entire life, and have never found a clinic as attentive, patient, and caring as this one. Ever since the first visit, their team remembers us and our animals without even needing to look us up, and they always make a point of asking how our cats are doing and checking in on them after their visits. Many vets will try to upcharge or sell products or procedures that aren't needed, but this team definitely doesn't. On top of all that, Dr. Hayes makes an amazing connection with us and with our animals, and absolutely makes sure everyone is comfortable before doing anything or before anyone leaves the appointment. The vet told us "out of 6 your dog has a heart murmur that I would rate at 5 severity, you should get it checked immediately." $1000 of a scam later the radiologist tells us, he didn't even have the slightest heart murmur. They hired this vet who is not the one everyone raves about and she took advantage of our love for our dog to get almost $2000 of negative tests out of us. Additionally, our dog had to wait 9 hours for an ultrasound they told us would only be 4-5; again its because we're nice people who both love our dog like family. Don't come here if you love your pet too much, they will take advantage of you. This office is very nice and clean and the doctors were very attentive and spent a lot of time with us, but the services are expensive. They charge $60.00 just for an exam which is overpriced compared to our regular vet($40.00). They also tried to sell us on almost $400 of services that were not needed. They were unaware of my experience as a vet technician when they tried to sell us the extra services. The front desk seemed a little overwhelmed during checkout. Again, it's a nice place as far as aesthetics and the doctors are very caring but I am glad I have a great regular vet! read more

Our main home is in Jacksonville but we were staying at our condo here in Orlando for an extended period while having a new house built. While here, our 15 year old Yorkie took a turn for the worse and we had to help her cross the Rainbow Bridge. We had hoped when the time came that we could've taken her to the vet in Jacksonville that we had been taking her to since she was a puppy. The staff at Williamsburg Veterinary Clinic were all so kind, caring and compassionate. They were able to get us in in a timely manner. I would never go back to this clinic! I only went for the annual shots ( rabies, bordetella and DHPP) and the bill was $280.00. They took him out of the room to give him the shots so who knows if he even got them or had any kind of exam. Spent all the time I was there trying to sell me on expensive anxiety and stress medications and I have never seen any signs of such problems. Too much more negative to say and not enough room here! read more

VERY EXPENSIVE! The staff is okay and the facility is clean but the prices are way over priced compared to other veterinarian clinics. They also try to add more services that aren't needed. I think they do care about animals but are more concerned with how much money they can make. Ask for a written prescription and bring it to a pharmacy that's cheaper. Just to give an example, antibiotics were $17 at the clinic but only $5 at the pharmacy (and free a publix). But it's little add-ons like that (they do it to every service! From X-rays to antibiotics) that make a bill go from $300 to $800. I would not recommend this clinic. read more

Took my puppy there last week taking my neighbor's advice. The doctor was very nice but we were never given clear directions about our prescription medication. After three days the medication changed its color, turning darker. We called to find out if this was normal and we were told that it had gone bad because it had to be refrigerated and they said to come pick up another one. Upon arrival a charge for medication was waiting for me there, even though it was their fault that they never mention about how to keep it. When I asked why, I was told that I was suppose to read the instructions. The instructions said that I was suppose to mix it with water as well. When I asked about that, they said that they had already diluted it with water and that we didn't have to do anything. Again, no word was ever said about that either. We had a follow up but canceled it. I'm not going back to the place where they don't take responsibilities of their actions and don't care about their patients. read more

I've been several times now and Dr. Hayes is just wonderful with my puppy, me, and my kids. He really cares about the whole family and puppy loves going. I can't say enough good things about the care my dog and I received at Williamsburg Veterinary Clinic. Dr. Hayes spent more time making my dog feel at ease before examining him than his las vet spent on the entire exam. They don't rush you in and out as quickly as possible. They take the time to explain medical options and their cost. Then they explain the treatments and what care I need to provide at home. The best part is they encourage questions and make sure everything is clear. I wish I could get that kind of care from my own doctor. The Staff were all very friendly and greeted my dog when they came in the exam room even if they only needed to talk to me. This was my first visit and I was also impressed that they focus on preventative care, this month it was proper weight. They assessed his weight, his needed calories and the calories in the food that he eats. All this was free and without any intention of changing the Brand of food or selling me on a vet only diet. I respect that they really care about pet well-being and not just services and products they can sell me. I consider my Timmy to be my four-legged son and my vet is more of a Pediatrician. Dr. Hayes is my new Vetrinatrician from now on. If you love your pets like I do you can't make a better choice than Williamsburg Veterinary Clinic. read more
