If I could give zero stars, I would. Christine at House of Wright was sooooo unprofessional it was…read morealmost comical. She was matter-of-fact, cold, and lacked every ounce of empathy you would expect from someone in this line of work. The entire interaction was substandard from start to finish. They waited until the very last minute to confirm insurance causing services to be pushed back an entire week, stalled on shipping ashes the same day payment was made, and then had the nerve to complain about their staffing shortages like that was my problem. Let me be clear -- when a family is grieving, they don't want excuses, they want compassion and professionalism. I even called and left a message for the owner, and to this day have NEVER received a call back. That alone tells you everything you need to know about how little they value families in their care. The only bright spot was Carl -- the ONLY person at this establishment who acted like he had some sense and helped hold us together during this chaos. Honestly, I wouldn't let them bury my goldfish. You'd be better off buying an acre of land, grabbing a shovel, lighting a bonfire, and burying your loved one yourself. That would be handled with more care than what we experienced here. Do yourself a favor: skip this place. Your loved one deserves way better.

[Disclaimer -- This is a lengthy review, but it cannot be shortened given the quality of service…read morerendered.] The House of Wright delivered a level of care and professionalism that surpassed every expectation. Their compassion and respect created space for mourning that was sacred, seamless, and deeply dignified. From the moment we arrived, the team moved with quiet precision. They anticipated our needs--offering tissues, fanning us as we cried, and gently supporting the casket when I leaned on it in grief. The presentation of our loved one was beautiful. The orchestration of the pallbearers was flawless. Every detail, from subtle gestures to major transitions, was handled with best-in-class excellence. They directed our motorcade from church to final rest without a single disruption. Not one. Their vehicles--spotless and seemingly brand new--reflected extraordinary attention to detail. Our deepest gratitude to Joanne, Hazel, Chris, Keith, and Jordan. Their warmth, grace, and unobtrusive presence allowed us to grieve fully. They did not just serve--they held us. They felt like angels. Even a brief moment of friction during the contract process was resolved with remarkable speed--one call, under 15 minutes, from Brooklyn. That kind of responsiveness speaks volumes about the integrity of this enterprise. The House of Wright is the gold standard in funeral care. Their service is a gift to grieving families, and we are forever grateful. My dear Brother Mr. Wright, your high standards show. You have truly mastered your craft. Respect, Michael Nicholls on behalf of the Nicholls, McClelland, Nicholls-Pierce and Johnson families June 2025
