It has been almost five years since we hired Bill (William J Benjamin) as our architect for remodeling our house In Hawaii Kai. I did not know Bill at the time; it was also the first time we have done anything major to our house. We learned to trust Bill after a few meetings with him. He understood how to put his customer at ease by his listening skill and explaining the steps in remodeling a house. To make a success story short, all we did were to point out what we need in the remodel; Turn a single wall into a double wall house, larger master bedroom with a wall in closet and a bathroom with double vanity, a computer room with clean energy, a larger dining area and to make this house looked larger. All the architect drawings were accomplished during the fourth meeting; to our surprise, it was a major overhaul of our house, we loved it and there were only minor changes to the first design drawing and we proceeded with searching for a contractor after another meeting with Bill. It took seven months to complete the remodel; it was absolutely an outstanding job by Bill and the contractor's team. Again, what set the tone were the pre-architect and the construction processes, with his visits to be sure the design is moving accordingly. We feel very comfortable as each step is being completed. Bill is truly a professional in his field. The remodel follow up were done as promised and with efficiency. We were very impressed with the design, workmanship, attitudes, neatness and care that his team provided.
