William Hill well it's not often I put a bet on. But for the Grand National it's a tradition for me. Staff was very friendly and they help me fill the forms in explaining what to do. And I won so happy days. read more

Mint Casino is the younger brother of Circus Casino (not really sure which is older but I feel that…read moreMint is younger and less mature). Its run by the same company, Genting Casinos. It offers a huge array of gambling opportunities including American Roulette, Blackjack, Three Card Poker and Stud Poker. It also has a load of machines to gamble on with comfy red stools to put your bum on whilst you gamble. These are good for poorer folks such as myself, because the minimum bet is a mere 20 pence. Food wise they've got loads to offer, including a nice little noodle bar, as well as a full bar which serves food as well, such as burgers and pizzas. Its much like Circus, so if I were you, I'd try both.

The first time I was in here, was without my absolute will, because Casinos; I'm just not into the…read morewhole gambling with money deal. Oh well, I do enjoy the game though! Little did I know this place unfolds a full stacked posh bar- 'Fusion' and a restaurant 'Linen'. The decor and ambience grips you and transports you the moment you enter, the very Vegas look and feel to the place makes it very attractive and appealing to the eye and mind. You obviously need to I.D yourself (over 18's only) but the good thing is it registers you once and provides you with a card (very high-end must say!) and saves you the trouble of I.D-ing yourself every time you enter. It has poker tables to blackjack to roulette to slots along with complimentary drinks and sandwiches!!! (For students this is heaven!) The bar is situated at the back and has a very posh yet relaxed look with the most comfortable chairs I've ever sat on! The bartender is very friendly and caters even to customized shots on very girly requests! (Women can have the edge in this one!) Though, a little tight on the pocket, it's worth it owing to the atmosphere and quality. The restaurant offers very modern British dining and comes with exciting wide range of wine selection from its own cellar. The special thing would be booking the chef's table which gives a view into the private kitchen showing a live performance of the art of cooking whilst enjoying your meal! Very unusual according to me! On weekends Fusion Bar is up for some class Dj's and live music giving it a perfect weekend tinge. So if you're confused about where to have that very classy evening followed by drinks and fun, try the Linen and then Fusion whilst winning some hands in poker!
WOW! I've wanted to go to this place for FARRR too long. I'm not sure why, as I can only really…read moreplay Blackjack, but the allure of this place has always urged me to go. First of all, entry is from what I can already tell an exclusive "Members only" policy. However luckily, you sign up on first entry for free. They take some of your personal information and create you an account, but from there it's all free roam . Past the lobby and it's Chinese themed restaurant is the "Poker" area, filled with poker tables and plays who I presume are professional. So...I avoided that. Head up two sets of escalators, and you're lead into a huge open-plan room littered with Roulette, fruit machines and various other card games. And what most people come to 235 for...The bar! GOD does it look modern and beautiful!! Set between two sets of stairs under the "Linen" restaurant. For people who already know me I'm a cocktail guy, so my first purchase had to be bond themed ;) Dry martini, shaken not stirred with a lime taste.....I don't think bond had limes :S. and then an Apple mojito. Very well made. But back to the point. Both DELICIOUS!! Well worth the VERY costly £8 ish...Kind of....(Kyoto are nicer and better) But yes, overall a great place to hang-out if you exclude the cost of drinks. I mean, come on! I saw a bottle of wine for £300.00+!! Crazy. Great Casino/Bar and very modern if you like that sort of thing :) Also... The toilets are rather clean and awesome :)

I too like this casino. Its always pretty busy and is open till god-knows-when, way past my bedtime…read moreanyway. Also, though Trisha notes the free drinks (this means tea & coffee in my experience) she neglects to mention the free sandwiches! These are cheese, ham or tuna, and are, like I said, completely free of charge! They even taste nice, though a little dry and plain. They give you a large platter as well and they're unlimited, as long as you actually are gambling not just rinsing them for sandwiches. They probably would not feed a tramp sandwiches as you have to register and get a card, so if you are a tramp, don't get your hopes up, and also consider why you're spending money reading this review of a casino on the internet instead of buying a roof. There's poker, roulette and all sorts of machines as well. There's a separate room for serious gamblers and I of course have never been in here. Though you can see them all through the glass, and they look very severe, scary and rich, like in the movies. Along with its little brother casino Mint (yes, I am definitely gendering casinos as masculine), its probably your best bet if you're a normal non-footballer.

Skilled chefs create brilliant dishes for you but the twist on this restaurant is that they cook all of the food over an enclosed type of grill giving a distinctive taste and texture to the meats and flavours of the other foods. Prices can be high at times and you must be over 18 to eat and drink in here, however for a date or a corporate meal or a group meal, this upmarket venue is one of the best in Manchester. Although the warning to lads not to come in if they want to avoid being broke may be lost in translation, this is probably not the reason why Ladbrokes is popular, as there are folk from across the globe working their way to ruin in this fine establishment. I'm not really against bookmakers, all I'm saying is, gamble responsibly. This place is as good as any to pop a bet on before the big game, and I personally like Ladbrokes rather than some of its rivals because of the betting sheets they provide for each days fixtures. This allows you to conveniently work out the odds or make ridiculous accumulators on a pre-made piece of paper. Its also right in town, so its good if you're going to watch the game in the city centre.
