Dr. Piscitelli and her staff treated my elderly mother for several years. And while my mother found…read morethat care acceptable, the office's treatment of her family was a different story. The office displayed a remarkable degree of unprofessional behavior toward me and other members of our family. The office's unresponsiveness for a simple request was something I hope is never repeated for another patient or family member. And lack of follow-through (such as asking a question if something was not clear) was very troublesome. If you're a family member of a patient in this office, good luck. I hope you're not treated in the same awful manner that we were treated. No one deserves the terrible experience that we endured from this office.

This was an appointment that SHE required as a follow-up to my first primary care check up. This was only our second visit together, and I was still nervous about baring my soul and body to yet another physician. Her attitude did absolutely nothing to calm those nerves. I requested a refill on medications while I was in office. Dr Piscitellis response was to raise her voice, to communicate that "she had already refilled my rx and she didn't know what I was doing with the pills!" When she looked up what the pharmacy had dispensed, and saw that I had been telling the truth, there was no apology. Instead her comment was, "Well it's not like you're working!" I wasn't aware that employment was a prerequisite to being worthy of proper medication. At this point I'm emotional & crying (as can be expected when one is accused of mismanaging medication and made to feel unworthy of decency. Her response to my tears was to stand right in front of my face while I'm seated on the exam table and say, "I don't know why you're still crying, I refilled your prescription." This just made me feel even a tiny bit smaller, if that was possible. We ended my teary appointment with one last jab. As I'm leaving the room, she tells me, "This is why I don't like to see psych patients." I was seeing her as my PCP. I WOULD NOT RECOMMEND DR PISCITELLI TO SEE MY WORST ENEMY. Cruelty is her standard, and she should not be in any field that claims to offer care.
