My husband and I got spa treatments each day and our son enjoyed the kids club from 9am to 10pm! He never wanted to leave and he even made some wonderful friends. I will definitely come back during a time where there is sure to be snow. It was such a beautiful and relaxing experience. Our room was a suite with a separate living room. Perfect spot for our son to sleep. During our stay, we dined at the in-house sushi restaurant and it was delicious! But more of a Japanese restaurant than just sushi. The whole staff at this resort are kind, friendly and so helpful. It feels as if they're all a big family and they're welcoming you into their home.

Our first night here we come for dinner on a rainy night after driving about 5 hours. We are tired and hungry and this place truly lifted our spirits. There was local music being played and the service was so warm and friendly. I had my first German beer and it was the best beer I ever had. The food was excellent. We came back for lunch 2 days later and had an even better meal at lunch time. Again, service was excellent. If I lived locally, this would be my go-to place.

The bar does not open till 7 pm but I think drinks can be ordered from the reception before 7. My only misgiving was I left Fortum and Mason Chocolates from London for my grandmother in the fridge. I forgot to collect them and called and hour after check out to see if they could be found. I guess house-keeping did an exhaustive clean as they were nowhere to be found. I Just would have thought such a nice place as that would have risen to a higher standard.
