I went inside & the very first thing I noticed is that they have a shelf full of food that says something like take what you need. That's a wonderful way to help the community, and I certainly felt welcomed. The staff greeted me and told me to make myself at home. When I asked for help finding a hoodie, the staff were very happy to assist me in finding a hoodie that would fit me well. One of the 2 ladies went to ring me up for the hoodie, and she said it'd be $3 (which is geez, maybe 4 times less than Goodwill would've charged). I told her I only had a credit card & did they accept credit. She said no that they didn't have the ability to accept credit, and she said just to take the hoodie & pay next time I was in. That was such a wonderful gesture of kindness and trust. Since I'm not from the area, I plan on sending a check in the mail as soon as I can. That hoodie saved my trip to the beach - I would've been miserably cold without a jacket with the coastal wind. From the little bit I saw of this thrift store, it's a true community pillar and treasure.

Terrible Customer Service! I bought my husband a pair of Birkenstock sandals for $130 less than…read more2-weeks ago. The size we got was too big so we exchanged them 4-days later with now issues. He wore the new pair around the house and on one walk around the block and unfortunately got a blister on the top of one of toes. even with adjusting the buckles, he wasn't able to get a comfortable fit on the shoes. We tried to return them a few days later but were told by the owner that because they were worn outside he wouldn't be able to resell them and couldn't return them. He refused to provide an in-store credit saying it would be the same as giving us money back and how would that be fair to his business. His solution was for my husband to wear socks with the sandals. He has no return or refund policy posted at the counter or on his receipts so customers are aware that he won't take product back. Now I know how he can afford to open another business in Newberg. I was intentional about shopping here because I had been helped in a purchase of a pair of Birkenstocks only a few weeks prior to this purchase and loved my experience and the shoes I got. I am all about supporting local businesses but will not be shopping here again or encouraging anyone else to do so either.

The diamonds were irregularly spaced, tilted at different angles, set at irregular heights and they snagged on everything. The ring is too embarrassing to wear. They were unwilling to make any corrections without charging me and offered no compensation of any kind for my deep disappointment and expense. They blamed the problem on the varied sizes of the diamonds. If that were the problem, they should have told me they could only make an ugly ring with them.  They displayed no pride in their craft or responsibility for their sale. I took the ugly ring to Richard Gretz Goldsmith who is redesigning it from scratch with my diamonds at less than what Jordans charged me. And Gretz offers a guarantee that if I dislike the ring for any reason I get my money back. I wish I had seen the other woman's review before I took my diamonds to Jordan's.

Walked on over, took my ring and we took a look under the scope. i knew that my band needed a little fixing and was quoted about the same price he gave me.
