It gets busy for a reason though, it is popular with people because there are so many bargains. The fruit and vegetables are very good, and there are loads of brand goods selling much cheaper than usual. The chiller cabinets host milk, yogurts, ham etc. There are gifts, crockery and stationery also for sale. Upstairs, there is furniture and soft furnishings. The shop doesn't provide carrier bags, but there is normally a good supply of boxes available, and you can take a trolley round with you which you don't have to find a £1 for! The stock does seem to change quite alot though, which can be a bit disappointing if you particularly like an item and then they stop doing it, so if you can, bulk buy your favourites!

This store is in a pretty great location with all the bus stops nearby. If I'm already shopping in Commercial Road I might pop in this branch, but as there is now a Poundland just a across the Road, I'd probably shop in there. They are still good value though, and this one seems to have quite a lot of bits for the kitchen in it. Stock doesn't seem to change very often (unlike Poundland) so I find it's not really worth going in unless I need something. This time of year they're always full of cheap Christmas decorations.

The shop has a 'scent of the month' and this is always at a 25% discount. If you belong to their loyalty scheme you get invited to events at the shop. Although the candles seem initially expensive they are good value for money as they last such a long time.

The quality is pretty good for the price and some things go up to a size 24 which is quite unusual in cheaper shops. The staff are pleasant and always seem to be doing something around the shop. It is a tidy store but I do not like the way it is laid out. The shop is cramped and there is not a lot of room between the rails. I like the choice of womans wear but find the childrens clothes do not have a lot of choice.
