It's located near Waitrose, which is just on the border of the precinct, allowing easy access if you have a car. The people in the shop are nice enough (and don't mind if you try on hats etc), but it is a bit cramped in there, much like U-Need-Us in Portsmouth, so it's baffling how they manage to pack so much stock in there. The party items vary from the standard decorations to unique costumes and accessories, and the shop also offers to blow up their balloons with helium, which is a nice touch.

The woman on the phone was having a conversation with another member of staff who was very abrupt on the phone. I felt patronised and made to feel stupid when I explained my point. I then asked to speak to the manager, after a week I am still waiting for a phone call which I don't think will be coming any time soon. They have taken the money from my account without further discussing the issue with me which I feel to be extremely rude. I will not be using this shop again and shall take my business somewhere that respects their customers.

The clothes section here is so enormous, so it tends to get quite messy and rifled-through. The…read morefact that they organise clothes by size makes it easier to browse for things, but if you're not sure of your size it's a bit of a pain to keep going back and forth between sections. There are usually some good bargains to be had, but you have to root around for them - one time my friend found a satiny ball gown skirt and beaded tube top for 75p! I tend to go in here more to look at inexpensive bags and gifts, and the home section has a variety of unique, one-off oddities. It does take a bit of rooting around to find what you need but the store is quite open and the displays are fairly easy to navigate, and unlike most other busy, high-street stores, it never gets too messy.
