It's not made clear when you enter the car park that parking charges might apply. I think it's assumed that you'll find out for yourself. It's free for 90 mins then you have to pay. The problem is that people don't realise that they should have paid, then get to the exit barriers which won't let them through, which then holds up the traffic behind them while they try & reverse out & everyone behind them has to try & do the same. I was stuck in a queue, trying to leave today, for about 15 minutes. Not very enjoyable

Unfortunately Dockside Outlet really disappoints and just doesn't live up to it's potential…read more I remember when it was in the process of being built the hype that it had was huge but then once opened was comparable to that of the Millenium Dome, it was a huge flop. Just half of the units were filled and you could cover the whole place in 30 minutes. It does have a few decent shops though - Pilot, Claire's and Cadbury but that's about it as far as I'm concerned. Other store's include: Baronjon Clarks Madhouse Whitard Marks and Spencers outlet Baggage Factory The Works Cotton Traders Denby and a few more I had never heard of before. I swear it used to have a Thorntons store too. It also has a couple of fast food places which barely pass as a food court Burger King and a Spud place being the only two places that spring to mind. I'm giving this place a very generous 3 stars purely because it has a Cadbury store... Who wouldn't enjoy a store completely dedicated to Chocolate??!

This is a new shop to the outlet centre which opened up about a month ago. It sells just about…read moreeverything including garden stuff, kithenware, lots of lovely craft stuff, and home furnishings. The shop has an upstairs bit which is where the home furnishings is and it has some lovely candles, ornaments, that kind of thing. Very reasonable prices too. Plenty of car parking out side.
