I am providing a five-star review for the following reasons:…read more1. The curriculum provided at the daycare and kindergarten levels is all appropriate and engaging for the children. The children will learn, albeit at their own pace, but they will learn. 2. No peer violence, only violence prevention exists in this school. This school provides effective communication for students. 3. The school provides meals to accommodate all nutritional guidelines issued to them by the parents. Not many schools will accommodate such requests. 4. The exterior view of the school is inviting and well maintained. Students are happy to engage with each other inside and outside of the school. 5. No school is perfect, and this school recognizes this truth. I do think a school will always be a work in progress, and I am sure this school will continue to extend its very best efforts to ensure the wellbeing of all of its students.

I do not leave negative reviews lightly, but after our experience, I feel it's important to share…read moreour concerns for other families considering this daycare. There were only two teachers during our time there who consistently provided the level of care and professionalism I expected: DaLynn and Chloe. They were kind, attentive, and genuinely cared about the children. Unfortunately, they were the exception rather than the rule. One of my biggest concerns was that my son's emergency seizure medication was lost or misplaced while in the daycare's care. As a parent of a child with a medical condition, this is simply unacceptable and could have had serious consequences. For the cost of both regular childcare and the summer camp program, I expected a much higher standard of care and organization. Instead, there were frequent staffing issues that appeared to stem from poor employee management and retention. My son was constantly moved from room to room with very little consistency, making it difficult for him to establish routines and relationships with his teachers. Because of the lack of adequate staffing, my 4-year-old was repeatedly placed in a classroom with 2-year-olds. Over time, I noticed this negatively impacted his behavior and even caused regression in his potty training. I was also disappointed by the lack of any structured educational curriculum. Most days seemed to consist primarily of "free play," with very little evidence of age-appropriate learning activities or intentional instruction. For the tuition being charged, I expected an environment that actively supported children's educational and developmental growth. Safety was another major concern. The front desk was frequently unattended during drop-off and pick-up times, and I regularly observed exterior doors being propped open, creating an environment that did not feel secure. There was also a documented incident during our time there in which a teacher forgot about and left a young child outside unattended. Texas Child Care Regulation contacted our family because my son was in the same classroom, making this incident especially concerning. The most alarming incident for my own family occurred when my mother was able to pick up my son for the first time without being asked for identification or being recognized by staff. Knowing that someone unfamiliar to the daycare could leave with my child without proper verification was deeply concerning. Every parent deserves to feel confident that their child is safe, well cared for, and in an environment that supports their growth and development. Unfortunately, that was not our experience. While I am grateful for the care DaLynn and Chloe provided, the repeated concerns regarding safety, staffing, consistency, lack of educational structure, organization, and overall quality of care ultimately led us to make the decision to leave.

We have attended KDO for the past 4 years but NEVER will I put my child in their care ever again…read more They are UNLICENSED and the director is a passive-aggressive leader with who doesn't practice what she preaches about being "Christian". There are many flaws within this program. What made us pull my 3 year old daughter out in April was from an unreported injury by her two teachers Mrs. My and Mrs. Taylor. My little girl came home with major scratches (with dried blood) all down the side of her rib cage. My husband discovered them while it was time to give the kids a bath. I was livid I was never notified anything at school ever happened. I texted both teachers and they confirmed an accident happened at school. I emailed the director and her response to my concerned email was "Did she climb a tree?" Yup...the response from the Director...placing BLAME on my child that she was the one who did this to herself. Well come to find out my child had been picked on by this same girl. She actually was just hugging a tree and the other girl ripped her away from it.. (and I also found out the little girl's parents were never talked to about their daughter's behavior until after I brought up what I saw on my daughter!!!). Now I know my child was crying inconsolably for a while...why was I not notified? (I still don't know). After the response from the director I pulled my daughter out!!!! The director should of responded with empathy and got to the bottom of why an injury was never reported on paper or why I wasn't called!!!! The admin there is very unapproachable and never have smiles on their faces. If you choose to attend this church you will see what I mean. They only socialize with each other in their own strange click and make moms feel isolated. Its a strange environment. I kept my kids in there for so long because they had fun in class and that is what mattered to me until this past incident happened. One time in the past my son was being bullied by a kid when he was 2! I did get a phone call to come pick him up. When I got there they just told me he hit his head. I had TO ASK THEM WHAT HAD HAPPENED and then they told me a boy had pulled his hand back so hard and made him fall back and hit his head on the cement. You HAVE TO DIG TO GET ANSWERS AT THIS SCHOOL! If you go to KDO be prepared to fight for your child and get backlash if you choose to do so. You will be x communicated from the church and kicked out of KDO if you do! I emailed the director two weeks ago because my daughter was asking to go back. I GOT NO RESPONSE EVEN THOUGH I ALREADY PAID THE UPCOMING REGISTRATION FEE. I wanted to be reassured there were steps in place where I would be notified in case of an injury happening again. I sent a text last night because I hadn't heard back and was told I WAS NO LONGER A GOOD FIT FOR THEIR CHURCH!!! WHAT KIND OF CHURCH IS THIS?!!!!!!! This is a Christian church who will kick you out for wrongdoings on their part...I am speechless...absolutely speechless. BE aware if you attend here. The admin is not friendly and clicky. Your child may be in danger and you may not be notified. They are NOT LICENENSED and the director did not want to make the school more than a two day a week program because she did not want to go through State licensing to do that (RED FLAG).

My son loves it here! Ma. Every time I pick him up, he has the biggest smile on his face. Ms. Christy is the Director and she's always there when we need her or have questions. I am not a member of Life Church and never felt like what was mentioned n the previous comment "isolated" I am so happy with the staff and program, and so is my son. Thank you so much ladies for providing a fun caring environment for my child. Special thank you to Ms. Faye and everything she's done to help Noah adapt to his new environment.
