Went here for a friends 30th Birthday, we were located in the base of the restaurant as there were over 30 of us, the decor was very contemporary and considering the size of our party the staff were very polite and officiant, the menu was very good and pretty much ticked all the boxes.
Right! Onto the meal, for starter i had the Baked Brie with roasted garlic, hazelnuts, black pepper honey all served up in a cast iron dish with a ciabatta, the starter was very nice indeed and probably could of demolished another dish, but i had to pace myself for my main, my main was the highlight of the meal, Baby Back Ribs cooked in a sweet BBQ sauce served with salad and a cup of chips, the ribs were tender, succulent and juicy and the sauce went well with the ribs, chips weren't the best chips that i ever had, but were OK.
So i was well happy with the meal, the only thing i was disappointed with was the drinks menu, no real choice on the beer front, it was Perroni or Stella, and the large bottle of Perroni was a whopping £6, i'd expect to pay that in London but not Maidstone, but the house red wine was nice and went well with the ribs.
So all in all the experience was very pleasant and i'd defiantly come back. read more
