I browsed the website and saw they had a nice bouquet with lavender roses and other pink flowers and since my mom loves pink and purple. I also wanted to add extra large pink lilies if they had them. I called and discussed my order with the nice lady who answered. She asked if my mom liked any themes or collected anything i.e. Angels and I mentioned butterflies so she recommended adding a few small touches with butterflies which I DEEPLY appreciated. She also confirmed they had lavender roses and large pink lilies. She said she wasn't sure if she had the silver vase pictured but she did confirm she had something that would suit the occasion. It wound up arriving with a really cute silver mirror style Vase which my mom loved. Everything I requested was included and the card was also perfect! Also this bouquet had fantastic flowers added, very few filler flowers like carnations and zero baby's breath!! It was a great arrangement and included some glitter touches. My mom loves it and I loved how professionally and thoughtfully everything was handled. 10/10 would recommend and use them again!

"Wow Factor Achieved"…read more I called from out of town and ordered flowers for a funeral. Since the person that passed was a long time friend of the family I was looking for the "Wow" factor. I requested a funeral arrangement that had a sewing theme to it. Not only did they have what I was looking for, I was also asked if I was a spool and needle put in the arrangement, which I took them up on. I live in the city and I spent money that would be a nice smaller arrangement. I found out after the funeral, the flower arrangement was very nice sized. I even asked if what I was spending would be big enough. I was assured it would be. It is nice that honest people still exist in the world. The deceased husband was offered a rose after the funeral was over. He elected instead to take the spool and needle from the arrangement I sent. I have ordered a lot of funeral flowers from all over the country. Sherry's Flowers were the only ones that went that extra mile and offered to add that personalized touch. Thank you again. (There was a delivery charge and I did not ask what it was, but it had to be nominal because I was told the arrangement I bought was very nice. The funeral was actually in another town 20 minutes away.)

I ordered some flowers for my mom for my parents' wedding anniversary. My dad died several years…read moreago and had a tradition of buying mom yellow roses for their anniversary, so I have kept up the tradition for my mom, because it meant a lot to her. The florist at Appleseeds, from a pretty basic happy anniversary message to my mom via ProFlowers, figured out that dad had died and took it upon herself to add an extra long stem yellow rose in its own wrap to commemorate my dad and for mom to place on his grave. What a wonderful, thoughtful person this had to be. It's these kind of people that make me really miss Unionville and Putnam county. Many thanks to whomever this person was; my mom was almost too choked up to tell me about it on the phone and she is headed to the cemetery today to put the flower on dad's grave. Y'all should be proud of how this person represents your shop and you have at least one customer (and I am sure with thoughtful service like this, there are a LOT more) who will never buy flowers from any other store in the area. My order was pretty simple- 5 single-rose wrist corsages, 4 bridesmaids' bouquets (made up only of monte casinos), and my bridal bouquet. I had them work off photos to create the bouquets, which they requested and seemed comfortable with. After 2 initial face-to-face consultations to discuss pricing, specific preferences, etc., I also called or stopped by the shop 2 or 3 more times before the wedding, just to confirm the order and pre-pay. Everything seemed to be in order, and Eva (the florist) seemed friendly and attentive, albeit a little forgetful. But I figured that's why she wrote things down... When the flowers arrived (I had to send a friend to pick them up) at the wedding venue... Well, let's just say, my mom and bridesmaids spent a lot of what should have been our prep and primp time together trying to make our bouquets presentable. The stems on the monte casino bouquets were sooo long, my bridesmaids couldn't have carried them as they were. My bouquet somewhat resembled the photo I had wanted... but we had to do some adjusting before I was okay with carrying it around. (And trust me, I was a LOW maintenance bride.) But, wait, there's more. I had ordered wrist corsages for the mothers and grandmas, but instead got pin-on ones. When we called the shop to see about fixing them, we were told that the order said pin-on, and there was nothing they could do because the florist was out that day. First of all, I had NEVER wanted or said I wanted pin-on. And I had confirmed THREE times, watched her write down, wrist corsages. Secondly, why would the florist be out on the wedding day that I had booked with them FOUR months in advance? Third, even if they were right and I had changed my mind at the last minute, I didn't expect them to be so unaccommodating as to offer NO help with ANY of the issues they caused... on my wedding day. With the amount of work we ended up having to put into arranging our own flowers, I might as well have payed for the $50-worth of flowers we used and cut out the hassle of communicating with a business that didn't correctly record what I said anyway, and the cost of labor that was seriously below par.
