When I recently had Central Air put in my home I tried to find a local company.
The company I hired to do the job was Wilder Heating & Cooling from Manton Mi.
After they installed the unit on 5/5/2015 the same evening I noticed that the blower was running
however everything was turned off, no heat, no a/c everything was turned off so I called them the next morning and informed them of the problem, for the next 3 1/2 months they were out to my place a couple times a month in an attempt to resolve the issue.
Finally in Aug. they changed the control board and solved the problem.
Apparently during the insulation process the installers had burned out the control board.
Then nearly 4 months later they bill me for the service call to replace the control board they had burned out themselves?
Chad Wilder tried to convince me that it was a "pre-existing problem"
How could it have been pre-existing if it had never been a problem till the day of the insulation?
I decided to check with others in the heating & cooling industry to see if this so called pre-existing problem was even possible and after checking with 3 different heating & cooling companies found that as any reasonable person would assume that if it had been a pre-existing problem it would have been evident long before I decided to install the A/C unit.
The other companies also informed me that the control board should have been the first thing they checked and that it only takes a minute to check.
It took them almost 4 months to figure out the problem that their own installers had caused, then they bill me for their mistake.
If I had to describe this company in a single word that word would be "INCOMPETENT"
The only person I would recommend this company to is my ex wife. read more
