Project went smooth, to budget, and was completed on schedule. Jeff, the owner is knowledgeable, friendly, and easy to deal with. Really thought out considerations for the elderly resident who would be living there and his suggestions and judgement were valuable. Cleaned up appropraitely and always considered the family dog and small children living at the residence (no sharps left around yard or worksite during prject.) Would rehire first for any size project from fixing a deck, to finishing basements, to an entire house. (Has built several houses in the Pepperell area, many on Village St, I talked to several satisfied owners before selecting for my job.)

Hi Chad and company,…read more The reference was to the one big snowstorm on January, 7th 2024. I had to shovel over half of the driveway after you had plowed two times. I paid $120.00 but my driveway had not been fully plowed.. It was one sweep up the driveway. I did however pay the bill for $120.00, regardless of the fact that it took me over 5 hours to shovel the rest of the driveway by myself. I did try to contact landworks immediately so that I did not have to shovel myself. I did not receive a return call for 2 plus days. By that time it was ridiculous for your company to clean up because it was going to be warm temperatures and rain: the snow washed away. The next small storm was on January 16th. I emailed you to let you know that we would contact you if we needed to be plowed. I parked a truck in the driveway because I was concerned your new driver would not have been informed by the office that we did not need to be plowed. However, he did still drive halfway up the driveway during the storm. Again, I sent a message not to plow the driveway. And I still received a bill. You also sent me a bill last year when you had plowed my driveway, However, we had just had a conversation the day before that you would not be plowing my driveway because of the soft ground. Yet, someone showed up and plowed half the bottom of the driveway and you sent me a bill. Each time your driver has shown up without authorization, I have quickly gone to the porch while the driver is still in the driveway to make contact. The driver then pulls out, even though I'm waving him down and he can see me, and leaves. As I told you while I was in the office, I understand what it is like to have a growing business. There are glitches. I have owned several of my own companies, which have sold for large profits. Customer satisfaction is key. You probably think I am a pain in the keister customer, but I would like nothing better than to see your business grow and thrive. Are 125 customers supposed to call you the day of the storm and request a plow or no plow? Or are they supposed to send emails? What is the standard? The weather in the northeast is very unpredictable now. Plowing is not the given that it once was so I understand your predicament when it comes to turning a profit. However, I have no interest in paying bills when the job is half done or not requested. I'm willing to give it another go. I don't know how to move forward. Please advise. I do not want to be plowed for two inches of snow. We have a southern facing driveway which melts very quickly. Let me know how you would like to proceed. Not happy with my gutter installation. They put one of the down spouts facing a different direction…read morethan I requested, which was important to me because it was to redirect water away from an issue I was having. So I emailed them about it and they replied saying they will come back in a couple days to fix it...no show. Then I followed up with another email and they said sorry and they will swing by tomorrow..NO SHOW AGAIN. So they stopped caring about me after I paid them. That is BAD business. And on top of that they must have done a lazy install because the gutters make LOUD vibration noises every time it is slightly windy outside and it has woken me and my baby up from sleep multiple times. I wish I went with the company that gave me a higher price instead. Would not recommend!
