This exceptional production of dance, music, and epic storytelling is a MUST-SEE! I think "Wild West Spectacular: The Musical" may be the first theatrical production to open its doors in America since the vast theater industry shut-down because of COVID-19. Inspirationally, the cast, crew, producers, and director are pioneering and paving the way for the re-opening of the arts for all the cities and states across the USA; whilst still adhering to recommended safety guidelines. This show is an eloquent collection of all genres of dance and an archival repertoire of musical numbers that spans the century. A historical illumination of a pivotal point around the lives of our Wild West legends and their global impact that ignited a positive scope into the talent and grit of the American spirit! The "Wild West Spectacular" is creativity at its finest. The arts bring us together and we need an action-packed comedy like this now more than ever! With a touch of romance and endless surprises, it is FUN, FUNNY, and a WILD journey through the life of Buffalo Bill Cody. Special CONGRATULATIONS to Director Elizabeth Fernandez! You are an inspiring woman and leader of the Arts! BRAVO!!! read more

My family is from Phoenix and we do a fair amount of traveling. We love the arts and take in shows when we can. We were absolutely shocked at the quality of this show put on by this very local regional dance company. Wow is all I can say. My girls left so motivated and inspired to put more effort into their drama and dance classes. My youngest daughter asked if we could move so she could join this company's school!! We stayed around and lingered after the show to learn about it. My oldest daughter wanted to know if they brought the talent in as it was through the roof good. Come to find out, as we were talking to the actors and dancers, all are home grown there in that very rural northwest corner of Wyoming. Incredible talent getting incredible training. Massive kudos to the arts community in Cody!!! Put the Cody Wild West Show on your list to do when going through Cody during your summer trip to Yellowstone. You will no regret it. read more

I am a local and have seen this show several times. I still find myself smiling all the way through it. It is a very professional, entertaining show and I love the hidden humor. I even learned something about Buffalo Bill and his Wild West Show. I think it's neat how they incorporate different styles of dancing to tell a story along with the acting. I would say it is definitely for all ages-- my 6 year old and 2 year old actually SIT and watch all the way through. There is a 15 minute intermission with most nights having live music, too. Highly recommend this summer show for tourists and locals alike! read more

Whether you are just in town visiting, or have lived in Cody your whole life, this show is a MUST SEE! The cast of dancers, actors, and singers work effortlessly to tell the story of Buffalo Bill and his Wild West Show in a new and exciting way. From the extremely talented local cast, to the beautiful set designs and lighting, you would never guess you are on Main Street in small town Cody, Wyoming. It completely surpassed all my expectations, and my expectations were high! The director, Elizabeth Fernandez, really hit the nail on the head with this one! read more

I am a resident of Cody, WY and saw RMDT's Wild West Show last year and have attended it this year as well; I will go again! With every performance I am impressed with the dancers, the music, the lighting and what they have done to tell the story. It is both serious and funny. It is obvious that Elizabeth Fernandez has worked hard to bring the story to life with integrity and at the same time to entertain and educate; it is not like anything you will see anywhere else and a true treat to have something like this in our community and for our community. read more

The show felt very authentic (they did their research) and the theater itself was the perfect venue for it. Dancers/Actors were incredibly talented; it was clear a lot of thought and preparation went into the show. While Cody isn't a place I'd normally think of going to to experience such talent, I was pleasantly surprised and would certainly encourage others to check it out. After visiting Cody (and checking out the few local establishments), I can honestly say this is one thing you HAVE to do there. No better entertainment or activity in town! read more

This is my second time seeing the show.....and, I didn't think it was possible, but it gets better every time. There's so much talent, presented in this show, from such a small town, it makes your head spin. The lighting and stage set really set the mood for the show. It really looks like they put a lot of work into making this show happen. Great dedication from the tech crew to the actors and dancers. This is a perfect show to take the whole family to and make a night of it. I'm glad I went!! read more

What a great show. We are Cody locals and weren't expecting alot - but boy were we surprised. It's an excellent production - even my husband and sons enjoyed it. They have singing, acting, dancing - and most importantly they tell the story about Buffalo Bill and Cody - so we all learned something along the way. Highly recommend to visitors and locals. read more

Great show! Great dancing and Casey Horton is wonderful as Clem, the saloon keeper. There is a ton of talent present on the stage. It's hard to believe that this little town can offer a show like this. If you're looking for something to do while you're in Cody, this is it! Bring the whole family down and enjoy the show! read more

This show was incredibly impressive! The story and dancers flowed from scene to scene with energy and talent. The theater and atmosphere (we were encouraged to let out our best hoot-n-hollers) had such an Old West feel to it that it was hard not to get emotionally and verbally involved with the show. So we did! Loved it! read more

I was so impressed that the small town of Cody has such a unique performance and truly talented choreographer. I go to several Ballet West shows in Salt Lake City every year, but a show that incorporates multiple styles of dance, acting, and history was a new and memorable experience.
