I love these breakfast/dessert shops. We had many back in the NYC area, and I was so happy to…read morestumble across this local one on Facebook!! Amazing food and drinks. Absolutely delicious and definitely homemade. Owner and all workers are very kind!!

They have phenomenal crepes and lattes. I tried the strawberry cheesecake crepes a few times now…read moreand they were FABULOUS. They are good to eat there or takeout. I ordered a latte with normal sweetness (they also ask you to pick the level of sweetness). Which was well made and tasted great. They have ice cream too but I haven't tried the cream yet, but it appears to be the good quality kind. I may skip the crepes and get ice cream next time to see. The service is GREAT. They are always kind and their costumer service was wonderful at each visit I've had so far. The lighting is great. Their main window gives a lot of natural light. Seating is plentiful, but if you have a big party, you'll need to make arrangements and probably call ahead. The parking is decent, but slightly awkward when coming from the back of the building. It shares a parking lot with Little Caesar's pizza. Easy access to get back onto 77 from front of building and close to Publix and Aldi so you can get some shopping done too. I would've posted a pic of my crepes... but those were the first to go... like it was my last meal. No time for pictures. Try them you'll see what I'm talking about. I would definitely recommend and would not hesitate to come back with friends and family.

From the moment we walked in, the warm, welcoming Southern atmosphere made us feel right at home…read more The staff was incredibly professional, and our waiters were attentive without being overbearing--they truly made the experience special. The food came out hot, fresh, and absolutely delicious, with every dish full of authentic Southern flavor. You can tell they take pride in both their cooking and their service. Easily a 5-star experience, and we'll definitely be back!

Very casual comfort, exactly what I'd expect from a restaurant with a Bayou namesake…read more The place has an unusual menu limited only to daily specials for lunch, so I initially got the impression that I was at some prison-like boarding school. But once I took my first bite, I was pretty satisfied. I had the country-fried steak, along with mash & gravy, and rice & gravy. It was good, and for under $20, I really can't complain. The place is huge, very spacious with both indoor and water-side outdoor seating.... something I'm not used to seeing in Los Angeles. It almost felt like a studio set at Universal. Definitely a lot of Bayou character! Service staff was young and friendly, without any of the pretentious I'm used to in La. The folks are real, and I appreciate that. Because of the limited menu, I'd advise you call ahead and make sure it's something you like, cuz if it's not, you're SOL. I like it. I'll definitely be back.
