I It's one of my places of Zen. ‍ I made the "mistake" of stopping in for just one iced latte... after years of cutting coffee completely out of my routine. Now? I'm here every time I have an appointment anywhere remotely nearby--sometimes even going out of my way. My absolute favorite location is the Lynn Haven Wild Root. I tried the Harrison one, but the energy felt different, so Lynn Haven is where I feel truly at home. What surprised me is how my subconscious automatically leads me to Wild Root over every other coffee shop in town. There's something special about this place. One major win: they offer gluten-free goodies and they let you make your coffee spicy. Capsaicin pairs beautifully with coffee and cocoa beans, so of course it enhances every latte I order. This alone makes them a standout. The atmosphere is clean, warm, cozy, friendly, safe, and wonderfully zen. It feels less like a café and more like hanging out in your own living room--if your living room also made phenomenal lattes. If you're someone who gets anxious in crowded or noisy places, this spot is surprisingly tolerable. Most visits are calm, with only the expected café sounds: grinders, blenders, light chatter, occasional laughter , kitchen clinks, and soft ambient music. Parking is limited, but I must be blessed by the Gods (including the Coffee Gods), because I almost always snag a spot right in front or very close by. And honestly, it's a cute little part of Lynn Haven, so take a stroll and enjoy supporting your local community! Their hours recently changed and they now close earlier (at the Lynn Haven location), so double-check before you go--they may be seasonal. A fun discovery: it's a great spot for a small solo performance. One day I walked in for my coffee fix and there was a singer with a guitar performing, sounding absolutely lovely. If I hadn't been on my way to an appointment, I would've stayed. Plus, with those big storefront windows behind them? Perfect for promo shots or an album cover. Musicians, take note. Don't hesitate. Wild Root was excellent and had a very unique atmosphere. The staff was super kind and worked hard to get our order out quickly. We got two iced coffees, and also some breakfast items! These included the Avocado Toast, and the Bacon Egg and Cheese Biscuit. Both were incredible but I HIGHLY recommend trying the Avocado Toast. I'd give 0 it were an option, I was a regular for a while and the quality has been going down and the staff has been rude and doesn't treat their regulars with kindness I went in there me and my sister ordered the same thing they did hers first and added the cold foam and syrup, they forgot to add the syrup to mine and they laughed about it and one barista told the other to give it to me anyway it tasted terrible. These egg cheese biscuits were definitely made with love and seasoning! I ordered one hot drink and tipped. after that I was quickly told they may not have a lid for my drink then told me that the lid one fit she had found a few minutes later I got my drink and walked out the door the lid immediately came off and spilled all of my hot beverage on to me and some very large stains on my shirt pants and shoes that resembled something you may see at the dog park absolutely embarrassing and will not be back. Also keep in mind I had been here prior and they also put an extra layer over my cup because it was extremely hot in there thin cups. read more

Menu includes a selection of made-to-order breakfast items, paninis, and smoothies. Everything we tried was top tier and tbh, surprising quality compared to other places in the area. Indoor seating is comfortable and you are surrounded by cool objects, plants, herbs, teas, and curiosities, all available for purchase. Outdoor seating is at picnic tables with umbrellas and is inviting and good for conversation. Weekend evenings, they have someone making pizzas in the back yard (didn't get to check this out but trust that it will be good). Timely and friendly service. Wild Root is a great little spot tucked away in Lynn Haven! It's one of my favorite coffee shops in Bay County. It's quiet and cozy with a relaxing atmosphere. It's a great place to hang out and catch up with friends or settle in to get some work done. They have a wide variety of coffees and teas, along with other stuff throughout the shop. They also have a tasty menu for a quick bite. They have many fun options on the drink menu, but I really love the spicy chocolate cappuccino! It's the perfect balance of spicy and sweet. The only food I've gotten is the breakfast sandwich, which is their egg white frittata on a croissant. It hit the spot and everything I've seen always looks good. Always one of our favorites when we come to the Panama City Beach area! It's become very difficult to find a great 3rd wave coffee shop so when we do find one we hold on to it and always visit it. They were training a new barista this time so the drinks weren't as perfect as they normally are but that's okay, we know they strive for perfection. I really wanted to love this place. I drove 25 minutes to check it out and was completely underwhelmed. The inside was super cute though. I was told that any of the drinks could be made hot or cold so I ordered a 12oz. iced chai tea - the girl at the counter then told me I could only order the 16 oz. cold - which honestly made no sense. My daughter got a drink as well and ordered it iced (but came out hot instead) I ordered the Jacques Presley which is listed as a panini (and for me a selling point) but when it arrived at the table it was just an open faced croissant with a thin spread of peanut butter and 4 slices of banana on each side with drizzled honey. My daughter just got the plain stack of waffles - which were huge but they were cooked too long and a bit too hard (see photo). The syrup was tasty though. This place might be best to stick to drinks - or at least care about the food they do put on the table. Also the prices on their website do not match the prices you actually pay. read more
