And, to my delight, the gentleman behind the counter knew how to fix my other rings so that they would slide over my knuckles and still not turn around on my finger--he did about a half dozen for me. PLUS, he put a new stone in a ring that had lost its pearl, and fitted a tiny piece of turquoise in a ring that had lost a bit of its mosaic pattern. All of this with a friendly and helpful attitude. I live in California, but Florence has a warm place in my heart for obvious reasons.

I ended up buying two wonderful pieces of artwork at the end of my Colorado trip. I was ecstatic that they were still there from the first time I went. We bought a lovely painting of Pikes Peak. It's hanging up in my kitchen in Madison right now. The other one we bought was of the Kissing Camels and the artist used materials that she found at Kissing Camels as part of the art. It's a really nice space and I hope to come back the next time I'm in Colorado.

We are not a talented bunch but she was so helpful and really guided us to making paintings we loved!! She and her husband John gave us snacks and beverages (including wine!) and when we weren't done at the end of our time, she was super gracious and helpful in letting us finish.
