Stopped by for the BBQ demo event. The store was clean with lots of meat and seafood selection in the store. The staff was helpful for first time visitors on items they have available. One drawback in buying the products is that most of the items are frozen and will need time to defrost before cooking.

This place has a crazy variety of meats, different cuts, styles, you name it. Prices are pretty much on par with regular grocery stores, but just a heads up, the meat is frozen. Props to them for having good spices and making it a one-stop shop, especially if you want to put together a small charcuterie board or just whip up some pasta for dinner. They do have a small selection of fresh produce, or maybe it was frozen... honestly, I forgot! But for certain items, I think it's a bit overpriced. This time, I grabbed the Argentinian Bombon sausage, paired it with some crusty bread and chimichurri, super tasty! Ambiance that of a grocery store - closer to an Albertsons

Pretty much all frozen foods, and some people may think "frozen food doesn't taste very good." But when you taste it cooked then , Wow! I predict that you will change your mind about that. Buy something here, cook it and then you'll see what I mean. Wide selection of meats, fowl, fish and more; some you'd have a hard time finding at other stores. I've been here several times. When I went today, I was surprised to find they had a holiday tasting event and all the samples were scrumptious.

Very nice Vibe! KFI AM Talk Radio Bill Handle, Neil Svedraa with the fork report. They are cooking outside, and giving samples of different food. The radio show is being hosted from inside this location for today! They had a raffle, with free prizes. It was nice seeing some of my favorite a.m. radio hosts here today.

First time coming, lifetime customer now :) Last nights haul.

Found my new favorite Meat and Seafood shop :) Wild Fork! They have a great selection of meat, seafood, and sides, with a couple of dessert options. Customer service is EXCELLENT here. I received kind assistance and friendly conversations here. And it doesn't hurt that they play some great music while shopping ;) I bought an array of proteins, sides and a dessert. Just to let you all know, everything is frozen and packaged in a variety of sizes. They have great and affordable prices for the quality of proteins you get here. Thank you Wild Fork and see you soon!

Wild Fork has been on my list since it popped up in the neighborhood. Frozen high quality meat and seafood at an affordable price? Sure, lets take a gander. My husband and I wandered in to take a look. We were wowed by their wares. They carry a variety of meat and seafood that you might not find in your local grocery store. They have bison, duck, elk, along with the typical beef, pork, and chicken. They also carry grass fed beef and pastured chicken. I saw different types of fish and shrimp from wild caught to farmed. Do yourself a favor and go browse their wares. You can order online for pickup if you're in a hurry but it's probably best to go in person to see what they have in stock.

We love coming here on Sundays and stocking up. My favorites are flash frozen shrimp and chicken breasts that we throw on the grill. Best disco music ever and the nicest and most helpful employees!!

I had a wonderful phone conversation with the owner Ben who personally took my order. We agreed upon a date and time two weeks out since I was going to be out of town for the 4th of July week. They called while I was out of town to confirm the date and time (between 10-11 am) which was great! When I arrived to the store with my son around 11:15 because of the heavy traffic on 91W I went to the counter and was told by a young female that I needed to go to the pay counter. She was curt and not helpful. There was only three people ahead of me so no problem. But the elder gentleman in front of me, who was being helped by the young man who would eventually help me, took an exceptionally long time with his order. I'm just here to pay and pick up. No problem, I'll be patient and keep waiting. Two other costumers are helped by the female counter person and finally the elder customer leaves with his order and I'm next. The young male counter person then waits for me to initiate the conversation and doesn't greet me with a smile or hello or how can I help. I brush it off. I tell him I'm here to pick up my order, a whole pig and give him my last name. He fumbles around a few seconds and then asks how to spell my name and eventually finds my ticket order and asks what time. The time is written at the top of the ticket he failed to notice. I pay for the order. He mutters someone will be out with my order and disappears. No thank you, no attentiveness like he gave the older gentleman in front of me. Again, I've been in my car with my son for over two hours from San Diego in traffic and this fella couldn't give me five minutes of courtesy. I'm waiting, and waiting and waiting while others eventually come into the store and are being helped and leaving. The older female worker at the pay counter is still there helping customers while the younger female at the deli counter is now apparently on a break and making herself lunch. She stops momentarily when a customer comes in for deli service. I'm still waiting by the counter to make sure I'm at least acknowledged but I don't see the young male counter worker who apparently left for lunch since it's now noon. The older female worker can probably see on my face that I'm not happy and says to me he's working on my order. He? Who's he? I am just here to pay and pick order between 10-11. How much time and trouble could it be to put this order together which was made two weeks prior? A different gentlemen finally arrives with three boxes and two large paper bags that comprise my order. On the way out the older female worker says goodbye and was very courteous. At this point I'm pretty upset because this is not a large haul and this order could've easily been second and not 45 minutes! I arrive home after the two hour drive back home to SD and looking forward to the meat, especially the sausages and putting it into the freezer which I cleared out in preparation for the meat. My older son is home to help. As we are sorting and placing the meat I notice that there are no sausages. It's just sausage meat but no links. I guess it's my fault for assuming and not specifying sausage links on at peat some of the order. It was a huge letdown. I had array went out to purchase rolls and buns for a bbq this weekend and to have friends and family over. Oh well. You live and you learn. At least the bacon was great.

My own parents lived around the corner for 30 years before recently moving. My dad and I always used to race here to get our weekend dinner supplies. All in all, this is a great shop. Personable people (family owned for sure), affordable prices, GREAT quality food, clean and full of history. I've even heard from other people who grew up in the area all the way at my work in LA county who rave about that store. My folks may have moved to another state and my father in law is no longer with us, but I for one will keep getting my best meats at this butcher's shop!

Staff is helpful and if you aren't sure what cut you want to buy on the raw meats...just ask! The customer behind me said his Dad wanted pork chops to smoke on the Traeger. They helped him pick the right cut & optional if you want it seasoned or as is. There's a few potatoes, onions, and seasoning in the shelves. A great one stop shop option!
