Their produce is second to none and at least twice a week we've loaded up on their peaches, tomatoes (heirlooms too), corn and greens, which are simply amazing. I don't know of another farm market in the area that carries fresh salad greens. They are to die for. They also carry A2 milk, an array of cheeses, local ice cream, baked goods and jarred jams and sauces/salsas. I am going to miss this place more than any other establishment in Winchester.

The orchards have several apple varieties, are well maintained and easy to navigate. The price is quite reasonable, you pay by choosing between three sizes of bags to pick the apples. They have picnic shelters and several playgrounds for kids that are free. Kids can also participate in a tractor ride in individual cars that are pulled by a riding lawn mower. We didn't see a full size tractor ride however. If you come hungry, try their apple cider donuts, slushies and ice cream. All of it is really good!

Realizing salt exists would help with a lot of things. The best thing we had was the Haggis and if you'e had Haggis you know that's pretty bad. There was also no effort to bus the tables when everyone was done. A large number of people started doing it themselves. It is a pretty place and I don't know anything about the other elements of the business (the store, etc) but I would not consider it for an event based on this experience.

There was only one food/farm vendor (probably because it's February) but she was very friendly & helpful in explaining the history of the neighborhood and had a diverse selection including leafy greens, root vegetables, baked goods, 100% juices, apples, frozen berries, Alaskan salmon, and eggs for which I learned they reuse the cardboard cartons that otherwise would cost 35 cents each! I bought olive bread, pumpkin bread, eggs and a bottle of 100% blackberry juice. Next time I'm ever in the area again, I will definitely stop by. Everything is fresh, ready to be taken home. I was thinking peanuts, last time they had cans of Virginia peanuts. I grabbed a couple cans for giving at Christmas time. The smell of the pies baking stopped me for a minute...nothing like a fresh baked pie. They're not small like in the grocery store...it's a family sized pie. Apple, cherry, blueberry..too many choices. I decided on blueberry crumb. It was warm when I picked it up!. Ok time to hit the road, I'm feeling like pie and a little ice cream. I paid and was gone. When I was home it was some of the best pie I have ever had. Definitely recommend for fresh vegetables, nuts and fresh baked pie. You can't go wrong. I think the market is seasonal...not really sure.
