Ropes course

We're mainly reviewing the ropes course. There's a higher level and a lower level. My daughter is 8 and she chose the lower level. I think she was tall enough for the higher one but decided she wasn't ready for it yet. You watch a video first and after that they strap you on. My kid LOVED it. You could tell how exhilarating the end was with the huge smile she had on her face going down the zipline. So five stars alone for the ropes course. All the other stuff were just OK. It's a nice "top off" to the fun but I'd say the ropes course is the main attraction there. Great way for kids to conquer their fear of heights!

Drove down from Bangor today with a couple kids and high hopes for a good time . The kids loved the water slide -it's good to see a lifeguard on duty even though he appeared to be spending a lot ( too much ) of time looking DOWN at his phone and not at the kids exiting the slide and into the pool :-) Rock climbing and trampoline very nice diversions . Lots to do here . Some folks I talked to said the ice cream was absolutely awesome -I didn't try it though . Picnic table area very nice with umbrellas for the sun . Grounds were clean - staff very engaging and friendly . Price ? A little steep - hence the 4 Stars . The folks I talked to likewise rated it a 4 .

10/10 Highly recommend. My kids had the best day here ziplining, doing the forest walk obstacle course, playing mini golf, and going down the water slides. It was incredibly clean and professional. The kids got the full access passes so they could do everything but my husband and I got guest passes so we could watch which worked for us, but other parents were doing the activities with the kids and having fun! After hiking and doing all the things we wanted to do, this "kids day" was just what our family needed.

Killing it on the zipline!

Get ready to be eaten alive by mosquitoes and black flies! At least the go-karts are okay.

Ask the Community - Wild Acadia Camping Resort

Looking for a zipline tour, no ropes like a jungle gym. Anyone know of a zipline tour like this?

At Wild Acadia Fun Park we have a new 800’ zip line. You do not need to do the ropes course. You can come in and just do the zip line.

Island Green Golf Center - Our Mini Golf Scores

Island Green Golf Center

My family and I were wanting to do some fun activity and came across Island Green Golf Center. But…read morewhen we got here, the place seemed to be called Traditions Golf Center. The young staffer had no idea what or if the place had switched owners and the name or not. There is a Pat's Pizza attached, and Gifford's ice cream too. We chose to play Mini Golf, and they have the course set up as a 27 (!) hole course. I believe that it may have been really three nine-hole courses based on how the holes were designated in the concrete. The course has a many similar holes with a lot of sloping which caused my group to max out a bunch of times. But, we also had some holes-in-one for those who were lucky. My son "won," followed by a tie for mom and dad, and then my daughter, my dad, and lastly his wife. She, however, was one of the holes-in-one playing Happy Gilmore style pushing the ball with the putter like a hockey stick much to the chagrin of my son when it actually worked well. The teen staffers were out and about using a leaf blower to clean the course, and one hole had the astroturf completely replaced just before we played on it. A lot of brick curbing was loose so watch your steps! The main water feature also was not operative. Everyone on the course (and there were quite a few) was well behaved and respected the people ahead of them. Staffers in the clubhouse wore masks and the sign said anyone vaccinated didn't need one but everyone else did. There is a single hoop basketball court for customer use and although they advertise having go karts and we did see the course, they too were not running. $54 for six to play golf reduced to $48 with a law enforcement discount. We did not stay to eat, and it took a couple of hours to get through 27 holes with all of us. I bet a lot just stay and eat after. If it were very sunny, we would have all been burnt to a crisp; wear sunscreen as there's no coverings on the course. This was a nice way to spend a couple of hours with the family doing a fun vacation activity.

Really fun place to bring the family. They have mini golf, 9 hole golf course, go carts, and video…read moregames. They have a Pats Pizza(one of my favorite places to grab a pie) and a full service bar.
