They are also impossible to get a hold of on the phone if you can find your refill #... I one time called and selected the pharmacy option and sat on hold for 10 minutes. I took my sisters phone(while still on hold) and called the main number and asked them to page the pharmacy and they picked up instantly?!?!? If you can answer the phone and Talk then why have I been on hold so long?!? I've also set up a pick up time when I was sicker than a dog... My poor sweet husband drove all the way over there at my set time, and they told him it still wasn't ready and that he'd have to come back in an hour... Needless to say I had a very upset hubby come home!

I have been waiting nearly 24 hours for an urgent medication. I kept receiving emails and texts from Walgreens stating that my RX was delayed and then that it was not authorized by my prescriber (the DR who CALLED it in). I tried calling and even though there was only one caller ahead of me, I waited on hold for 17 minutes with no response. I went into the pharmacy and waited at counter for 9 minutes before I was even greeted. Three employees passed by me at the counter and ignored me. Finally, I was told that they " were working on it" and "to have a seat." I sat and waited for another 15 minutes. During this time i continued to receive another text and email from them stating my RX was not authorized. I went back up to the counter and explained what was happening to another associate who told me they were still working on it and had no idea why I was receiving these alerts. Since my RX still was not ready I left. Do not go here if you are waiting on an urgent RX. The staff is unhelpful and lacks basic customer service skills.

Walgreens doesn't exist in Galena, apparently (which was surprising since it's headquartered in a…read moresuburb of Chicago about 2 hours east). This was the pharmacy I could find and I figured CVS, Walgreens, Longs, etc. are fairly interchangeable. Hartigs proved me wrong. Most stores like this have an 8 or more door section with a bunch of different brands, styles, varieties of what I needed. This store had a four foot section, and only maybe a third (probably a generous estimate) of the shelves in the section were dedicated to what I was seeking. I was sure I was wrong so I asked the woman at the front and she said that was it. Turns out I wouldn't have wanted to spend my money here anyway. So Hartigs sent me to a Walmart for the first time in well over two years. Given that I'd rather shop almost anywhere besides Walmart, that's a feat.

Then why ask was told it was an honest mistake. still not taking any responsibility for there error. Sounds like a way to kill somebody!
