From the moment we were picked up right on time at our lodging and driven to base camp, everything was organized and professional. Our guide, Shane, was outstanding. As complete first-time fishermen, we appreciated how instructive, knowledgeable, personable, and incredibly patient he was. He got us fitted with waders, explained everything clearly, and made us feel comfortable and confident throughout the trip. The private spin fishing excursion itself was an absolute blast. While we only landed one beautiful rainbow trout, the experience was never about the number of fish. Shane's enthusiasm, encouragement, and sense of humor made every cast enjoyable, and the breathtaking scenery made the day unforgettable. The exhilarating boat ride down the river was an adventure in itself and added even more excitement to an already fantastic outing. If you're looking for an authentic Alaskan fishing experience with a top-notch guide who genuinely wants you to have a great time, we highly recommend Phantom Tri River Charters. Thank you, Shane, for creating memories we'll never forget!
